This is a trainer with blunt blades so no chance of cutting off your fingers. It's easy to handle, flips open cleanly and smoothly. The latch to hold it closed when not in use is a vital feature. The patriotic pattern is great, if you're proud to be an American!

Fun
Purchased for my son at his request. He loves it and uses it almost like a fidget toy. He enjoys practicing different moves and I don’t have to worry about him hurting myself. It’s also pretty well made and has shown no signs of deteriorating.

Cool design, but a bit hard to flip
I bought this bc it’s cheap, patriotic, and I love the design. However, as a flipper, it’s pretty awful. The handles are horribly thin, and the latch messes with the balance. Fans of all kinds are difficult and uncomfortable, and really nothing else feels good on this. The tolerances are pretty bad, lots of tap, lots of play. But tbh, I think this is perfect if you’re buying it to flip for fun or for patriotic events, or even if you’re a beginner. A lot of people say that you need to buy something expensive to start out, but that’s not true. For $8, this will take you as far as you need to go to find out if you like this hobby or not. I’d say it’s worth the money, but don’t expect much.

Easy to use
Very ease to grip helps with hand strength. Quality if very good well made. Light weight very ease of use and movement. Their is no sharpness so no worries about hurting yourself definitely has a good safety mechanism.

the pin fell out
At first, the quality exceeded my expectations. But, then the pin fell out of the blade the keeps the blade from not being floppy while open. I forced it back in, but eventually the pin got lost and now it is floppy.
