I stand corrected. This trolleybag is, I now believe, genuine leather. The reasons for lack of 'evidence' of its authenticity have been satisfactorily explained to me. However, the reason for the non-leather smell is why I still can't give it a 5*. Spraying a colour on to the leather to change the natural colour or make it more even, is a great pity if the paint product smothers the gorgeous smell of quality real leather. The bag itself is of brilliant design & has great style and functionality.
