Use the fan to ventilate radon from my basement/home. The speed of the fan is variable. The fan is quiet. I use a clothes dryer, vent hose to move the air from the duct fan to outside. The unit has been in use for a year with no issues. Radon concentration dropped from approximately 12 pCI/l to approximately 2 pCI/l over a period of several weeks. The EPA suggests the radon concentration in air should be less than 4 pCI/l.

Work great

Relatively quiet, but doesn't move a whole lot of air. It works for assisting the smaller ventilation fan in my gallon laser, but may end up being swapped with somethingmore powerful in the future if I don't go to a different laser. Had for a little over a year now, and while it hasn't had any issues, it's performance isn't exactly astounding. Couldn't quite give it 3 stars, so 4 it is.

Bought this to pump air through a filter unit in a chicken coop. It works well enough that I am often cleaning the actual vent I installed because it’s getting clogged! I wasn’t sure it was strong enough, but the amount of dust and dander that’s getting sucked through says otherwise. There’s definitely a sound to it, I wouldn’t call it loud, but it’s louder than you’d think it would be. Great price. Very sturdy item. So far, no complaints.

This product is described as an exhaust fan, but it leaks air from the housing, allowing smoke to enter the room! This is extremely unsafe as it will not send all of the air to the outside. Do not use as an exhaust fan!

DO NOT BUY! Don't ignore the other reviews stating its loud.. They are accurate. The variable speed doesn't seem to work at all and the unit emits a concerning electrical buzz while operating. absolute trash product

barulho muito acima do esperado. ruido constante de funcionamento do motor eletrico. decidi trocar para ver se era defeito do equipamento ou se é mesmo assim. se for assim, não cumpre com os 29db que anuncia. medi mais de 60db e não é pela força do ar mas sim pelo ruido do motor eletrico.

Worked for 6 weeks before burning out in the controller—a seemingly known, dangerous fault. I had to pay return shipping and fight for a full refund under consumer law. They only gave in when Amazon got involved.
