I have an outstanding DVD collection with a wide variety of genres & animation is one of my favourites - this is just another addition to my collection.

Kids love it

The make believe world of the emoji is just as challenging as the real world. Get the emotional expression wrong, and boom, it's delete!It's fun. And yes definitely a film for the children.The princess is a hacker and not just a one dimensional stereotype.The central character Gene is a Meh, who unfortunately is far too versatile in his emotional expressions and therefore needs to be "deleted".Unless the hacker can help to rewrite his destiny!The "smiler" tasked with overseeing everything runs smoothly is vastly irritating, her happy expression makes her insincere, and so when she she is ousted to sit among the rejects, good riddance!

Whether you are a kid and are just looking for a simple story line with some colourful characters and exciting singing and dancing, or an adult who appreciates clever humour, The Emoji Movie is the movie for you. I have watched the movie 4 times now and everytime I watch it I notice new parts and discover new jokes that I had missed before because I was laughing too hard. The movie is one gigantic advertisement but the writers know this and make many references to how stupid internet phenomenons and social media has become. This is summed up by a line at the end where Addie tells Alex that she "likes a boy that can express his emotions" after he has just sent her a "super emoji". The amazing characters of Mel Meh and Mary Meh speaking in monotone voices throughout the whole movie made a great subplot which gave the film an extra layer of humour. If all this wasn't enough, Sir Patrick Stewart voices the poo emoji and makes more puns than I can count. To hear some of the best and worst puns of your life you have to watch the movie, and buy the DVD because I guarantee you'll want to watch it more than once.

Brilliant film. Funny for children and adults alike. Easy to follow storyline without being boring. A good film to watch without having to think too much about plots and characters as they literally are the emoji they represent. My girls age 7 and 9 love it but younger or older children would love it too xx

It is a cute story line about an emoji who is on a quest to be "normal".

Reçu rapidement et le film est bien en français audio selon la jaquette. Je ferais un edit quand on le regardera car c'est un cadeau de Noël.Edit : le film est bien en français.

Purtroppo mi sono accorto in ritardo che era un'edizione francese. Tant'è vero che ho subito dopo ordinato la versione italiana. Quindi non posso giudicare più di tanto il prodotto.

Comes as advertised, and before the expected delivery date. Seen this movie before but now having a hard time finding it on streaming sites for free.
