Do the eyes open? Also does it come with a bed?

Hi, No the eyes do not open. It did come with a bed and brush in a cute box. We have not found away to turn it off so it breaths all the time. It is not noisy and uses a watch battery so it should continue to breath for a long time.

can l remove the batteries?

You would have to take out the batteries. We put the battery in December 23 and it is still running with that same battery if that helps...

I agree that it is about 10 inches. It is about the size of a 4 or 5lb puppy.
