Read a bunch of reviews about these over the past few days & decided to go for it. Yes; they're tricky to thread into the shoe eyelets, especially the first one. But once you have the technique, it's fairly easy. 1st shoe took me 7-8 minutes total, 2nd took me just a 2 mins tops. I don't think they're ever going to be "tight", I'd probably not recommend these for walking/running/hiking. However, for the way I wear shoes, these are ideal! I have an electric skateboard & always wear skate shoes. Skate shoes are notoriously loose fit anyway & I especially don't want any laces anywhere to potentially get caught in the skateboard wheels. That being said, they are certainly a lot better than I thought. They don't pinch or hurt at all, I can't feel them. Then again, this could be due to the type of shoe I have (very thick tongue). Good quality too, super stretchy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great once setup! *by C***G on 23 July 2026* took a little time to figure out what lengths to use on my shoes, but once there on it's great. My vans shoes are now slip-on shoes and I don't have to worry about tying my shoes now. The best thing is that the tongue of the shoes doesn't fall to the side and stays in place (just thread through the vans logo on the tongue).
