Design Toscano NG32122 Frederic the Little Fisherman of Avignon Boy Fishing Garden Statue, 38 cm, Polyresin, Two Tone Stone

This is a beautiful garden ornament, I wanted something in tribute to my late husband, and when we first met in our teen years, there wasn't a year he didn't go fishing, and that was when he was at his happiest, so this is perfect, and well made at a reasonable price.

I'm delighted with it can't wait to get it around my pond when I get it finished looks like stone but is lightweight and just the right size would reccomend

This little chap arrived this morning and he's already hard at it, trying to catch the two little stickleback in my wildlife pond. Good luck with that as I haven't seen them since I put them in a week ago. A little dab of glue should keep him in place. His sister will go on my goldfish pond when she gets here. Four months later, the little sister turned up today. As with the fisherman, I love the actual detail of the ornament. She is significantly smaller than the fisherman. They would look odd put together but they have their own little ponds so not too much of a worry. Just be aware when ordering. There is NO WAY the pole fishing rod would stay in place in a slight breeze as I learned from the fisherman model. I had glued that pole in place but the wind soon took the fish off the flimsy line to be lost forever in the pool somewhere. I had to replace it and used a stronger line. Knowing this, I replaced the fisherwoman's line with stronger line and firmly tied fish onto it. Also a dab of glue where the pole fits into the hands as there's NO WAY it would have stayed in place with the slightest of breezes without it. She is now in her place glued to a piece of tile to ensure she stays there. Why they weren't made the same size as they are the same price I don't know. Those things aside, I still love them and glad I bought them. My goldfish had better watch out!

I liked the look of this as it’s so difficult to get a “sitter” so I was delighted when I saw this so I ordered it.. It arrived well packaged but it was so light it looks more substantial than it is but brother in law was delighted with it as it looked just what he wanted

What a poppet. Bit more class than a gnome, though I have nothing against gnomes, I am not gnomist! Looks very handsome sitting on the edge of the pond, dont forget to put him somewhere protected when the frost comes! You wont be dissapointed.
