I can’t live without this Biotera gel! I’ve tried many more expensive and famous brands, but nothing works as well on my curly hair. I’ve been using it for over 4 years and have no plans to change. It gives great definition and hold, leaves my curls soft and bouncy, never dry, crunchy or hard. Zero frizz, beautiful shine, and it’s alcohol-free so it doesn’t dry out my hair. Best gel I’ve ever used, hands down. Highly recommend for curly girls!

Love love- having been using for years doesn’t dry my hair out - good hold and dries to a wonderful cast that is soft when broken. I buy locally at Sally Beauty supply but same price on Amazon / use it will other products as it is light weight

I love this gel! I have wavy curly hair this gives me a good cast but is not crunchy or stiff after I scrunch out and smells like biolage!

I ended up getting the Biotera Styling Gel when the level "3" Biolage Gelee was no longer available on the website I used to order it from (plus it was getting a bit pricey too). There is definitely a lot of gel in this bottle (15.2 0z). The gel is lightweight with a slight fragrance that is not that unpleasant or overpowering. While using it I did not experience any flakiness (I have short to medium hair so I don't use that much). It could have to do with my hair type too as I have hair on the oily side so if I use products after awhile it can tend to look greasy as opposed to dry. I have heavy straight hair, as my hairdresser says, lots of volume but I need control. By volume she means lots of hair but not necessarily body. So, I need something for hold. I would apply the gel after shampooing to slightly damp hair and then style it. As for hold it was more of a light hold on my hair texture ( I can do with a little more hold). For those with fine hair or scrunching this would probably work better. It is less expensive than some gels out there, you get a lot, it is alcohol-free, doesn't have parabens, phthalates, mineral oils or dyes. As I mentioned it is a big bottle so you can get quite a bit of use out of it.

Fantastic gel. It's lightweight, yet provides great hold and definition. It also gives me great volume. Don't believe other reviews saying it flakes. It does not flake. They must be using another product with it that is causing a chemical reaction. You will love this gel! I only wish the scent lasted longer

This hold my hair very well. I love that the consistency is not too thin, it's thick enough to not run through my fingers like water. It leaves a nice shine and it does make my hair a little hard but if you use a leave in conditioner beforehand, the hardness is not so extreme. The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because of the white cast/flakes it leaves!!! I'm still working through the bottle because it's a pretty large size so it's worth the price but I probably won't be buying this again. When I start to see the white cast I just run wet hands through it and it seems to take of it, at least for a little while before I have to run wet hands through my hair again 🫠

I love this size and smell the best. It does a good job with my hair and it looks good after I scrunch the cast out. The cast is strong. I usually mix it with another gel and that's working for me. I definitely use a lot of gel and this one not only works well but I dont have to worry about running out ie buying more all the time. I will definitely be a repeat buyer if this gel.
