I have difficulty lifting my legs up to do get on a bike or in a truck. Will using these as therapy for lifting my legs up and over work?

You could, but they are just a simple cone. If you are just working on lifting your leg you could use a water bottle, can of soup, etc. I must admit that the cones are much more fun, but using anything could help you lift better. My best advice is to seek a professional therapist that can tell you which muscles or joints are weak to know how to gain strength first.
