So I bought these because for the first time I dropped my hero 6 and scratched the lens. So I figured if I'm going to buy a replacement lens I might as well protect it. I'm very satisfied with the screen protectors. They were easy to install. I'm usually scared that I'll leave bubbles behind but these were awesome and I didn't have to worry about that. Touch screen did not lose any of its responsive qualities. Super clear. I'm loving the water resistance on it since I do a lot of filming in water. No more droplets on the lens. Just slides right off. I'm satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone with a gopro.

As far as keeping water off the screen and lens, they work as advertised. I am against putting rain-x on my GoPro lens. I would recommend getting a screen protector anyways for a GoPro Hero 5 and later since you are not using a plastic enclosure to protect the screen. The reason for the 3 stars is after on 3 days of use, I had a chip off the front lens protector that resulted in a crack across the entire lens protector. I was away on a trip so I had no choice but to leave it with the crack until I returned home. The back screen protector also would not seal to the screen in the upper right corner. I had it perfectly lined up, but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to seal to the screen. UPDATED: Clearex reached out to let me know that the product should not have done that. They sent me a replacement, and it fits perfect, no air bubbles or cracks. The review has been updated. Thanks Clearex, I will continue to buy from your company!

Overall I think this is a great protective accessory for the GoPro. I installed mine on a GoPro 7 Black and have been testing it for just over a week now. Installation was straight forward and realitivly easy. I had an issue with the front lens where I put it in crooked and had to peel it off and reinstall it. Once I corrected that the front screen looked perfect. I did have a small issue with a bubble in the rear lcd screen but it was in the corner, out of view and not a real concern. Functionality has been good so far. There appears to be no image quality lost when taking videos or pictures (did before and after comparisons). Water resistance is good but not amazing as you would be lead to believe. If you submerge the camera under water then resurface it, the water beads off with ease. If you apply a light mist to it (conducted with a spray bottle), it does not bead off well until large droplets from from the mist. The touch functionally had one small hiccup where I couldn’t control the screen. Once I restarted the camera I haven’t experienced that issue again (most likely was software related). Overall I would recommend this screen protector to anyone with a GoPro. It appears to be made of high quality materials and is as advertised. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was due to the small bubble in the corner of my lcd screen and lack of true hydrophobic properties (mist test).

This is a great product and stays true to all its hype. Yes it does a great job in repelling water drops from the lens but the most important thing for me was it’s tempered glass protection. My GoPro took a HUGE fall when the suction cup loosened from my car at over 40 miles per hour on the track. When I went to pick it up I was expecting to find my GoPro in pieces with a completely shattered screen. Miraculously my GoPro was able to withstand the fall but what amazed me the most was that the screen did not have one single scratch on it. Of course both screen protectors were completely shattered but once I removed the film the lens was in PERFECT condition. I immediately purchased two more screen protectors when I got home. This is a product you can count on!

Update: The seller made it right and sent me another protector that sticks much better. The hydrophobic properties has worked well from 11/2018 all the way until 6/2019 when my GoPro took a flying leap and landed lens down on concrete. The screen protector shattered in 3 places, but the actual GoPro lens underneath was still in mint condition. Before it shattered I had used it in an indoor waterpark (high chlorine), water skiing (lots of water pressure), and in the ocean (salt). I made sure to rinse it off after I was done using it with fresh water, but other than that I didn't do anything special to it. After the original shattered I ordered another one and it came quickly. Installed with no issues this time and the hydrophobic properties have been great. Highly recommend. The screen protector doesn't stick and stay down in the corner. Already peeling up as soon as I applied it :(. Too expensive for a screen protector to not work out of the box and they only give you one unlike other options that give you two.

It works great. The water drips right off really well like advertised. The only reason I am giving it a three star review and not higher is because of how easily it can crack and break. I set my GoPro down and accidentally barely touched it when turning around and it tipped over and the lens protecter cracked. It didn’t fall from a high distance or anything like that. It literally barley tipped over from its side to face down on the same platform and cracked. It is a good product, but you need to be extremely careful with it.

Works exactly as expected, just be sure to clean the surface and apply correctly because it sticks very well.

It did not serve its purpose. Put it under running water, sure, it slips off the glass like the lens would without the screen protector. Sprinkle some water at it, they dont roll off. It just stays on and still cause video footage to have a bleb. I wonder why I bought it.
