Very simple product to connect

The power button is a momentary physical switch not a touch switch. I have had issues with touch switch versions switching on & off randomly in the past. This one should avoid that issue.With the switch OFF it draws 1.36ma @ 12vWith the Switch ON it draws 8.13 ma @ 12v - both are small numbers.When power is first applied the device is always in the OFF mode.Cables supplied, they have a 10A fuse in them.I haven't yet tested the ports or their capacities yet.

Good retrofit for existing 12V outlets in my truck, but you need to provide some splice connectors. If you aren't doing a straight new install, then you need to be able to safely splice this cabling into your existing wiring. So get some connectors to make that possible and you're golden.May not be a direct fit, if your vehicle has any kind of special molding or trim. Otherwise, great product!I love the power on/off button to the right of the plugs, and the led light indicator. These allow me to know when the outlet is powered or to shut it off when running on accessory power (engine off) and don't need the phones charging, but want the radio on, etc.

I bought these to replace the old cigarette lighter in my 2001 Ford f-150 XLT, and ended up doing both cigarette and auxiliary power right next to each other and left the auxiliary power in the back alone. I hooked my buddy up with a couple and drilled out a spot on his dash and just added them on. Would love it if they came in a set that glowed red. The blue will look amazing in my car when I get that going, but I'm trying to do all red lights in my truck.
