First impressions........
Just got this pack so here are my first impressions after a couple days and a walk around the block. The construction and quality is great. The nylon is not name brand Cordura (at least not that I can tell), but it is still good quality. The buckles however are cheap knock offs and not Duraflex or ITW. The Cobra buckle should be advertised as a "cobra style'" buckle. It is not the genuine article. I am worried at some point the buckles may break. But with all that being said, It seems to carry fairly well. As I said, the construction is top notch. The padding on the back and waist belt is thick and comfortable. The only issue I have is that the straps may be a little short. The sternum strap cannot adjust any lower and rides higher than I would like. Also, the end of the straps don't curve out enough and I am afraid they may pinch. I will give it another couple test walks because that might be a deal breaker. If the only issue was the cheap buckles, I would have given it 4 stars. In the end, they are easy enough to replace if the time comes. The shoulder straps force me to take off another star. Hopefully its not enough for me to return it. Otherwise I do like the pack overall.

Well made but crap
Heavily stitched and made very toughBut whoever made the shoulder straps with hard backing should be forced to march with full kit until the get why the straps are stupid
