I've been looking for ages for a pair of sturdy heatproof gloves to use with a firepit that will fit my girly hands. I've previously bought numerous pairs that claim they're suitable for women only to find they're huge even for most men. Why do manufacturers do this?? Women are not a 'niche market', we're literally 50% of the population! And lots of us have fire pits / fire places/ bbqs. Whenever I've seen gloves claiming to be 'suitable for men or women', what they mean is they're made for the largest of men, and women will have to make do. But the hunt is over!! At last, gloves available in different sizes! I bought the smallest size and they fit me perfectly, they're actually quite snug. On the downside, I hate to admit it but they're not that heatproof. The index fingers are a double layer of suede but the rest of the fingers are not. So some caution is needed when using. But who cares- they fit!! Hurrah!

It's almost impossible to find heat resistant gloves for small hands! You'd think women never welded metal, burned wood or made barbecues. These are it and they work, because they fit. Can't feel the hot metal through them.

These are good gloves and I needed them in a hurry - i chose the size based on the measurements give and measuring my own hand - these was similar to otherr site handling gloves I use regularly. However when they came, they were a fair amount smaller than indicated - making them incredibly tight on me - I did not have time to get anther pair so I used them - albeit they were a little too tight. Secondly, on quality and quality control. The little finger pocket of the right hand glove was stuck shut. Again, because I needed ot use these right away I had to cut the threads so they could be used immediately. This might sound very negative, and I was disappointed. However, I had an urgent welding job to do and had left my welding gear elsewhere and these were very good for the job. They certainly are heat resistant even to handling the welds immediately after welding. They seemed very comfortable, if only they had been the right size. I can recommend the gloves but get a size bigger than you measure and allow for a return should you get a duff pair like mine.

I searched everywhere for women's size leather gloves and these were the smallest I could find. They felt snug across the knuckles the first few times I wore them but now they have loosened up and are more comfortable. Good quality and heat resistance is suitable for my needs.

Got these instead of oven gloves. No more burning my arm on the shelf, which is nice. If you have thick oven dishes and trays, then the heat does get through if you're holding them for too long, but they're better than any oven gloves I've used.
