Firstly i absolutely love this device. UI is a little tricky but you can get used to it with use, just take some time to figure whats what and youll be measuring like a pro in no time. Going back and forth between scope and generator is a little annoying if youre trying to get something just right but it works. Multimeter side works as expected and more. Did not expect the capacitance measurement setting and its awesome, takes a second for bigger caps though so have patience depending on the cap. I do like the current setting warning, i know ive forgotten to swap leads a few time when going to measure current and have broken a few meters and circuits so it helps my forgetful butt. The only true issue i have seen is the DC offset from the generator does not cancel when you turn off the signal generator. If you were to hit pause on a 1Vpp sine wave with a 2V offset the sine wave will stop but the offset wont. This nocked it down one star because it is otherwise a great product that can measure signals in places where desktop scopes cannot easily go and this issue should be fixable with a firmware update

The Hanmatek HO102S replaces my multimeter and adds signal generation plus 2 channel scope. Instructions aren’t bad. It works very well. Menus are easy just played 15 minutes. It’s not a Fluke but for $200+ it can’t be beat today.

So far so very good! It's a big bright display, really easy on the eyes. Everything seems to work fine, and it's amazing to have scope, multimeter, and waveform generator in a single calculator like device. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The good: I love the 3 in 1 instrument for my electronics design work. For simple electronics work it is suitable and convenient due to portability/3in1. Accuracy was suitable for most work. The bad: There is a bit of a learning curve but after about 1 hour working with it, I was comfortable. Unfortunately, this was the only time the instrument worked. The ugly: After investing in learning the instrument it didn't work when I really needed it. Some of the keys were unresponsive. It was never dropped or abused in any way. The very ugly: Here is how it went with addressing the issue: 1. I was outside the 30 day return at ~45 days. 2. No warranty is listed on the web site and OEM would never respond with warranty statement. 3. OEM requested a video showing the problem - the video sent clearly showed the defect. 4. OEM requested I use the keys to reset product to factory - problem is the complaint it keys not working. 5. OEM requests another video showing the same thing the first video showed - I complied. (see video) 6. OEM now wants me to remove the back, disconnect the cables, and reseat them - are you kidding me? 7. Being an engineer with a ESD safe workbench I complied. 8. I found a broken connector inside between the keypad and main board - a manufacturing defect. (see pic) 9. Escalated to Amazon A-Z Guarantee - they offered a refund upon receipt of defective unit. Am I a happy customer? NO, I spent countless hours and days trying to resolve this. Is it appropriate for OEM to suggest to a customer to open a sensitive electronic product and reseat a very sensitive cable without knowing their knowledge of electronics and ESD? NO Is it right to sell product without disclosing the warranty? NO Would I recommend the product? YES, but I chose to buy a different brand to replace this product. Would I recommend the company selling and servicing it? NO

After a year of using this scope+DMM, I'm thoroughly pleased with it. Functionality, reliability, usability and build quality are all very, very good. I particularly like how fast the screen refreshes, giving it the feel of a fast analog scope. The UI has the feel of a benchtop scope with dedicated buttons for frequently used features rather than a deep set of menus. Battery life is a hard one. Good enough for me. When the scope is unused, the battery lasts for months.

I do the occasional electronics project at home, and I own a nice Fluke multimeter, but every now and then, an oscilloscope would come in handy. I don't really have the space for a full-size desk scope, so when I saw this little box of tricks, I thought I'd give it a try. It's great! All the functionality of a basic 2-channel digital 'scope - cursors, measurements, adjustable triggering, XY mode - in a box the size of a Fluke, with a decent signal generator and an acceptable multimeter as well. The signal generator will do the usual sines, sawtooths, square and pulses, along with a few other more exotic waveforms. The meter is basic, but has all the functions and ranges you would want for most electronics work. The kit is pretty comprehensive, too - in addition to the meter, you get a carry case, USB cable and UK power adapter, two scope probes, a pair of meter probes and an output cable for the signal generator. The manual is a bit sparse and not that well written - if you already know how to use a scope, you'll be fine, but I wouldn't recommend the manual to a beginner. (If you already know how to use a scope, a meter and a sig gen, you won't need the manual anyway - the controls are all pretty logical.) It all feels of decent enough quality - it's not a Fluke ScopeMeter, but then it's less than a tenth of the price! It is powered by a rechargeable (via USB-C) battery, which is good for 4-6 hours. Cracking bit of kit, and fantastic value for money.
