Lovely gentle heat that is already sprouting my chilli seeds in 12 days. Some varieties that I had trouble with in the previous year too. I was a little concerned about the temp output at first but after putting my laser temp gun on it 100% accurate.

Seeds germinated faster than placing on a windowsil now have an abundance of vegetable crops!

a well made product which works well..I use it fr waming seedlings. Only one complaint , this remperature can not be controlled a so it is a few degrees too hot . I have puchashed a temprature contol device with a temperature probe , which os yet to arrive but I think this will solve the problem . If I was marketing this product I would package it with the control unit.

Nice constant heat seeds germinated in 4 days , easy to use no worries at all.

I really found this a practical alternative to cumbersome alternatives as it rolls up when not in use. It is warm but not sure if it is too warm. Here’s hoping it is ok. Time will tell

This is the second heat mat I have purchased in the past few week and both had the same issues. The mat heats uneven across the length and width. Only heating in the center which is useless! Maybe 3rd time lucky but will try a different mat

I am using it for both seedlings and kombucha (at different times, obviously). This is the first time i've used a heat mat for seedling and the cucumbers came up in two days!

I can feel that the “heating” wires extend throughout the mat, but having plugged it in around 24 hours ago I can feel one spot of warmth, about a finger-tip across. The rest of the mat clearly is immune to the electricity, so therefore is really not much use. NOTE: after a few more days, and having placed cardboard under the mat, there is more general, tepid warmth evident. It clearly takes time to get going.

It works, but you will need to roll it out and set weights on it for a couple days to straighten it out. It's also showing faint signs of wear after about a week of use. Perfect if you want a cheap heating pad for seedlings. Not recommended for keeping bottles at temp (eg kombucha.)
