Item works well for removing matted hair on my almost 21-year-old part Maine Coon cat who no longer grooms well. My Vet suggested the purchase and told me not to use scissors because it was too easy to cut her skin. The box was a little beat up which made me wonder if my clipper set had been used and repurposed; however, it does what I needed it to do. I have used both blades. The narrow blade works well around the ears, and the standard blade is good everywhere else (chest, belly, sides, tail, and back legs. The buzzing sound is low and not a problem.

As long as your cat or dog doesn't mind a little bit of a buzzing sound of the motor, this is a really good clipper. The size is perfect for my small cat, as far as maintenance and getting ahead of what could potentially become a huge mat problem, especially since mats can form so quickly. Should you already be dealing with a significant mat problem, I wouldn't recommend using these clippers. The battery ran down quickly when their fur has thicker mats or fur, even when the clipper was fully charged. I think it just becomes overworked. After using, be sure to clean the blade with the mini brush and oil included in the kit. The clipper I purchased included attachments. I didn't actually use any of them, so I can't say whether or not they are effective. All in all, I recommend this clipper. The price is reasonable and the size is very convenient. It's worth giving them a try for your pet. Just check and make sure it's returnable in case you aren't happy with the product.

These clippers are very good quality and are comfortable as they do not get hot. My 19 year old cat has stopped grooming his long, fine and thick fur resulting in matting. I had difficulty removing mats with the clipper guards but it was very easy to remove and change the different attachments even with one hand. The sound isn’t as loud as the video makes it seem.

Got this to trim down my fluffy calico cat. It’s easy to use, charge & clean. It’s not quiet though, not sure how quiet clippers can be but it’s not extremely loud either. 2 out of my 3 cats aren’t scared of the sound. My other cat is super anxious about all types of sounds so no surprise there. For what I intended to use this for, it works great.

Ohhh my gosh! This is the greatest little thing!! Now Grant it, I've only had it a few hours... lol but my cat who gives a new meaning to "FRAIDY CAT" actually let me trim her bum a bit! It's so quiet I'm amazed. So if it stays this quiet & fast I will be so very happy! Thank you!!

It was quiet and easy to use. My cat is quite fluffy so I had to hold the chunks of fur I wanted to cut otherwise it just went through like a comb and didn't cut. I'm thinking of buying another one to gift to my mum for her pup 😊. Would definitely buy this again.
