Works great. I have a 22-lb dog and this is a great target stick. I also have a longer one with a large "ball target", but this one is great because it is easy to fit into a pocket or training pouch. Love that it is retractable, that's the best part actually. It really helps having a target stick with small dogs because I can lure her into position (down, bow, spin, etc), with bending over and being in her face. She's hyper so she has jumped up and crashed into my chin before and that wasn't fun.

Got this to train my baby boa for target training to reduce the risk of feeding response bites- so far haven't had any issues with the quality, sometimes with telescoping items they break easily but this seems sturdy.

Nice durable target stick the perfect size. I bought this target stick to assist in training my service dogs. Its functionality is remarkable and its accuracy is as good as the handler using the stick. I looked at a lot of these prior to purchasing one and chose this one, which I’m glad I did. It’s well made and looks like it will hold up for years to come.

Good tool, but would have been excellent if there was an option to get some treats inside the little ball

This is great for target training with my puppy. I don't have to worry about him running into the end and getting poked in the eye because of the nice foam ball. And it's a slightly bigger target than just the end of a pointer so it's more obvious what I want him to touch.

I’m a therapist trained in EMDR. This wand works well for use with clients in EMDR therapy sessions. It is lightweight and I like how adjustable the length is for us with either in person or online clients. Collapses down to a great size for storage when not in use. Recommend.

I'm actually studying to be a dog trainer and got this for my tool kit. However I have two senior kitties at home and I figured the target would be a fun way to work with them. They really took to it right away! Kitties are curious so the ball is an easy way to get them moving and jumping without solely using treats. Also great for non-food or play motivated pets. With kitties I've found it best to keep it put away until play time. That way they associate it with fun and keeps it interesting when they do see it. The ball target is lightweight but I could see it deteriorating quickly or even coming apart with use.

My dog (chihuahua) picked up 'touch' with this very easily. Plenty of length to extend the ball down towards him, the ball is bright, soft & foamy for him to touch his nose against. Great training tool
