Haven't used it yet it's on standby just in case I but by the looks of it I think it'll do the job IMO

We have around 5 mice going around in our apartment and I installed 2 of them and updated the bait many times in a month couldn't catch even one mice. total waste of my money. please do not buy it.

I have purchased 24 rat traps in the past year. Two sets from this company and two sets from another company (Pest Expel). They look exactly the same in the pictures (with the red bar at the top), but I've learned that a high percentage of these traps can't be set easily.The problem is when you use your thumbs to bend back the metal bar to catch the latch, 3-out-of-4 (75%) won't click in immediately. The tolerances for manufacturing aren't exact enough and the black hook in the back is often a couple millimeters to thick to latch on. That's probably why previous customers complained they couldn't be set. To me, that is a manufacturing issue. Some are fine, most are not. I've found the ones from the other company are more precise and can be set very easily. Both work great once they are set. I've caught a couple dozen rats and mice at the perimeter of my house (coming from neighbors yard) in the past year.

Extremely strong spring and easy to set. Rats don't stand a chance.

Killing rats got two at once one time

I would not recommend this item for outdoor use. One of the traps didn't hold up one week and now the plastic setting latch isn't working. An animal or the wind had triggered the trap two or three times but I didn't get a kill..

Made well.
