Above average for price range.
This lightsaber is great for spinning ! It came with grip wrap for the handle (most do not). It's a good weight and length for most everyone to train with. The hilt is not too thin nor thick for my small girl hands. I have dropped it several times and it's still sturdy! The colors are vivid and easy to change. It's very basic, but better than most at this price range. And after handling a very expensive large one with all kinds of features, I still prefer this one. The problem with really cool expensive lightsabers is that you don't really get any use out of them for fear you will break or scratch them so they end up being an expensive wall art item- not the point of a lightsaber! This one looks and sounds good, and sturdy enough to take a beating, and inexpensive so you don't feel bad smashing things with it. My ONLY gripe is this sound it makes (ONLY when changing between colors), TO MY EARS it sounds like a seal. When turning it on and off or during swings- it makes the appropriate & usual bad ass sounds at a nice loud volume.

This awesome!
So cool! The lights, sounds, solid construction, overall quality, and price make this a great purchase for any Star Wars genre fan. Be sure to tighten down the hex screws after inserting the light into the handle. That might be in the instructions, but I didn’t get a chance to see them first because my 13 year old put together and threw away the packaging.

For $40? This is quite the deal!
Bought this for a last minute Halloween costume; I wasn’t expecting much out of a $40 prop, but this certainly delivers. Length and weight are great; a lot of the lightsabers out there have really short blades but this one is perfect. The sound quality is decent; not terribly loud, not terribly quiet. It isn’t quite smooth swing; you have to give it a decent swing to make the sound engage, and while it does make impact sound, it’s gotta be a pretty stout hit to do so. Overall, a fun buy. The only ding to this is that the colors it listed aren’t accurate. It lists cool white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Mine is cool white, red, green, yellow, blue, purple, light blue…which is a bummer, because I’m doing a Baylan Skoll cosplay and wanted orange…but it’ll do.

Great Quality Basic Value Saber
This is the most basic of sabers: it is a Base lit RGB, smaller length and diameter than current LGT or YDD sabers, so good for younger Padawans. The Core is about as basic you can get and still have sound. The motion sensor is not great- no smooth swing, although there is some response to extreme sudden motion and collision sensing. There is only one sound font, the only setting that can change is the color, 7 colors and resets to red with each activation.. but come ON! An aluminum hilt, an included re-chargeable battery, and charging cable. Good sturdy body with good fit and finish, for the price of a plastic toy! An amazing feat. To get any more than this a few years ago you would be paying multiple hundreds of dollars. And if you can't swing the $220 plus dollars for a Galaxy's Edge saber, you won't miss it with this in your hand. But be warned! It is addictive. This "weapon from a more civilized age" may start you down a path that may change your destiny forever. Or deflate your pocketbook. Beware of this dark side, you must!

Great value!
You really can’t complain about this lightsaber for the price ($39.99). I haven’t had any duels with it and don’t plan to, as it is just part of a costume. So I can’t speak to the durability of the blade. But it doesn’t feel cheaply made. The little screws that come with it keep it securely in place (Allen wrench included). I’ve waved it around plenty and they haven’t loosened. You will also receive a rubbery “bandage” wrap that serves as a hand grip, which you can choose whether or not to use. The wrap along with the relatively light weight of the lightsaber make it comfortable to hold. As for the colors, they are exactly as shown in the video under the Q&A section. The light is mostly uniform throughout, maybe slightly dimmer toward the tip. It actually looks better in person than in the photo I included. It makes sounds when you power it on and off, when you switch colors, wave it around, or hit something (I only slapped the handle to test), as well as a constant hum while the light is on. Though some of them are a bit quiet and not quite movie quality, the humming and power on/off are a decent volume and pretty accurate sounds in my opinion. You can choose which color you’d like it to have when first powered up, by setting it as the color you used last before turning it off previously. That way you don’t have to suffer the embarrassment of cycling through blue and green, etc. in front of all your Sith friends. The only difference I see between some of the photos and the actual product is the tip, which appears a bit pointed in some. But is actually rounded (again, see video for accuracy). Plan to charge your saber up before use for optimal quality light. I believe the instructions say 3 hours, but it has some charge when you receive it and I think mine only took about an hour. It will light up when plugged in and turn off when it’s reached a full charge. But it doesn’t hum during this time, so no need to worry about that. Overall, this is an excellent lightsaber, especially for the price. If you are a serious collector or want replica quality, plan to spend near $300 or more. This is the best bang for your buck out there and I searched high and low before making this purchase. I would recommend this for anyone looking to complete a costume and save some money. Not to mention, you can use it to be Darth Vader one day and Luke Skywalker the next. Can’t beat that! I may even purchase another for a future Ahsoka costume.

Exactly what you would expect from 35$
Pros Looks good Feels Good Good weight Cons Not as many colors as advertised. Has 7 colors with 15 advertised. Sounds are totally wrong. Pops on like a flash light not a lightsaber Can not be muted Very loud So all in all for 35$ its fine. It does honestly feel nice to swing around and it is a nice looking display piece. It is pretty loud so the fact that the sounds are super wrong does get annoying. when it turn on it sounds like a blaster being shot from a gun and the clash noise is a blaster from a ship. So being able to mute it would be nice. Other then that the colors are nice I just wished it had all 15 like advertised. I have dampened the sound to where its now not noticeable and I think the product it worth it. Also the the feeling of the pvc blade itself I would not trust dueling. For me it will be displayed in a star wars room and Ill most likely play with it but nothing serious.

Durable
My 9 year wanted this light saber. We have had many "kid-toy" light sabers over the years and while our nine year old loves "battling" with those too, he was ready for something more sophisticated. We bought this one for him and it is surprisingly durable. He knows that he can't just smash things with this one, so he does treat it with more care than the "kid" ones. However, we do duel with this one verse "kid" ones and this one has held up. My son loves that he has so many color choices.

Tough and Kiddo Resistant!
I bought these for my 5 year old who's diagnosed with autism. He's obsessed with beat saber so I wanted to get him his own set of light saber to dance away when VR isn't available. The blades are incredibly tough. He's hit them against each other and plenty of different objects both on purpose and on accident. They have some slight flex, thick walls, and with the light dispersion layer, I'm pretty sure if they did break, it would crack instead of shattering. The Grips are turned CNC aluminum. They have matching threads so you can connect them to each other darth maul style. Some sound effects don't trigger correctly such as the swinging sound but the clashing sabers sound is on point. I didn't notice much light bleed if any at all and the color reaches the entire saber length. Small suggestions directly to the manufacturer. The barrel AC plugs need to go. You can now get breakout USB C plugs for pennies that don't require any other boards or electronics. The default power delivery without a draw-down resistor is 5w 3a which won't cause any damage to simple electronics or batteries.

VERY Poor Quality!!!
After a few months, the sound simply stopped existing. I purchased this as a showpiece because I am a collector. Even though I didn't play with it as much as anyone would, the product's sound ended without without any damage. It's not working at all right now. I even attempted to charge it, but it didn't work either. Not worth 7k or for any amount. DO NOT BUY!

Resistentes (No son una espadas reales, tampoco tires a matar) fácil de programar y de noche se ven muy bien. Estoy satisfecho

Fun and affordable!
This is a really fun and affordable lightsaber. Great for horsing around or as a decoration for a Star Wars display. The sounds are cool and it has any color you would want for a lightsaber. You can also turn off the sound effects for use as just a light source. At $50 CDN it's a good value. I probably won't be dueling with it so I can't really comment on durability.

Bonne Investissement.
