Super effective
WOW! Really cleans all the floating dust in the shop! relatively quiet compared to all my power tools. However the rings to hang from the ceiling are not strong enough. Just had to upgrade to a sturdier ring and it fits very well in the area above my workbench

Efficient
This is great dust collector. It has a lot of filter service and gathers a lot of air born dust in a short period of time You wiil have to turn your radio a bit as it does make a bit of a hum.

Good and quiet.
This seems to be a good unit so far, I’m still trying to determine if the suction rate is worth it that’s why I went with four sided. I’ve seen other reviews on. This is a loud unit, but considering the CFM ratio, it appears to be very quiet For a workshop. FILTERS are a downfall for replacement if you can find them they are way overpriced $70 for four of them on Amazon is not a good price recommend finding them somewhere else for a few dollars apiece.

I really like this filter
In my current house, my wood shop area shares open space with my automotive restoration area. This means that I do need to frequently need to dust the cars I'm working on when wood projects are also going on. I had a decent single filter (one entry) unit that did ok. But it decided to die on me. Researching, I found this. What I like: * While somewhat loud, it's not as loud as many of my tools. It's about the same volume as my old unit, but with more power. A lot quieter than my shop vac. * Remote control. I'd need a stool to get to it, the remote means I can turn it on as I enter that part of my shop. * Two speeds. Don't need the full power? Just let it run on the lower setting. * Timer. You can set it to run for an hour or two and leave your shop. It will shut itself off. * The black VW Beetle I'm working on has required almost no cleaning. That means the air is actually being cleaned. Second indicator? After about a month, all four filters are showing an orangish hue from the sawdust. * Many mounting options. I mounted it with the fan up (hanging), since it's right over my table saw (I didn't want it blowing the dust right back down on me). You can also mount it with the fan down. It comes with brackets to mount it directly to the ceiling if needed (there, you'll need the fan down). * Easy to install. Heavy, but not too heavy. Comes with chains, hooks and the previously mentioned brackets. What could use improvement: * The display doesn't help you much with the timer. But you can easily see the speed. I, my cars, and my lungs are very pleased with this so far. Very glad I moved from one intake to four. This is much better than what it replaced.

Takes unique filter size - nearly impossible to find
This work well in my small shop (20ft x 12ft). Installation on the ceiling was relatively easy once I got the first chain secured into the hook. I recommend having someone help you hang it. It plugs into an outlet which I already had in the ceiling. The remote control is handy and necessary since this is a ceiling mounted filtration system. My only complaint (and it’s a biggie) is finding replacement filters which are very uncommon size. Nothing available locally or online. I even went to the websites of the system manufacturer and the filter manufacturer. I could find no replacements. I eventually wrote to the filter manufacturer’s tech support and they had similar but not exact sized filters that I purchased from them. This struck me as odd as if they discontinued this specific filter after selling a bunch to ALORAIR to build these systems. Now I am stuck in a sole source situation and paying whatever the filter company sets for pricing. This fact is the only reason I didn’t give more stars.

Works flawlessly
I have a small woodwork set up in my garage and I was always thinking how do I vent the air in the garage? I finally found the solution and it works flawlessly. I love it it’s not very noisy and it does a good job to help with the dust. I love it for now. It works flawlessly. And the price is good. I’m very happy with this purchase thank you.

Works very well.
A little noisy but really moves the air. Replacement filters are expensive.
