I have thinning hair at the hair line. Im blond and didnt know whether to try light or medium blond. I went with medium. It's a little dark so I mix it with a little face powder which makes the color perfect. The quality is excellent. It stays put where you put it so be careful. I would suggest practicing first. Im very happy with the product and will definitely buy it again ☺️

This root touch up works well. The tiny applicator brush (no sponge!) fills the powder in where I need it. In my case not the roots, the scalp. I have a very thin area on top of my head. My hair is silver gray so I purchased white. It blends in well and covers my scalp. I also love the hinged lid on the bottle - you just pull the ribbon up to open. Ill definitely re-purchase if I ever need to but this will last quite awhile in my case.

I recently purchased the VOLLUCK Root Touch Up Hair Powder Root Cover Up Hairline Shadow Powder but it was a trial and error process to get the right color. I have red/auburn hair and ordered the Red shade first. When I opened the jar to try it out, it was definitely red, more of a magenta which did not match my hair color (looked like a sunburn when I applied it). I was ready to just return the product and look for something else; however, one of the features I liked about Volluck's product was the fine powder and ease of use. Since the powder is so fine, I decided to try and see if I could mix it with another shade to get it closer to my hair color. I ordered 2 more jars (auburn and brown). I was able to match my hair color using the combination of Red and Auburn (returned the Brown shade). I will note that I did not use the enclosed applicator brush but instead used a cotton ball to lightly dust both shades on my hair. Worked like a charm and I am happy to hide the unsightly gray roots between hair appointments. I do recommend Volluck Root Touch Up Hair Powder Root Cover Up Hairline Shadow Powder but you may have to play with one or more shades to get the color that is right for you. I purchased it less than 2 weeks as of this writing and will update in the future if needed.

Easy to use. Had to experiment with shade. I use brown on my roots even though I’m blonde so it matches how my stylist colors it. Blends really well! The dark blonde was a little too much on the red side.

I've got dark ash blonde hair with gray highlights. It's fine and thin, so I'm using this to color my scalp under the hair, which gives the illusion that I have more hair. But the product really needs to match the color of the hair well for the illusion to work. So I bought both the dark blond and the light brown. The light brown works perfectly, because it has cool undertones (like ash colored hair), whereas the dark blond has warm undertones, so I can see it sitting on my hair and scalp. The dark blond doesn't blend in at all. I think it might work for honey blond (maybe), but not at all for ash blond. I'm glad that I bought 2 colors so I could find the right one. That said, the illusion is only an illusion. The photos on the product page are misleading. They make it look like there's actually more hair once the product is applied. This isn't hair fibers, only scalp foundation. They've photoshopped those pictures, so you shouldn't expect it to look as good as what they show. (The deceptive photos are why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.) For my hair, using a scalp foundation is a major improvement, so I don't know why they needed to put up deceptive photos. Before I bought this, I bought an expensive scalp foundation that cost $60 for a slightly smaller amount. This works just as well; in fact I like the applicator better, and they give you a small brush as well, which can be used for eyebrows. The expensive scalp foundation does have nicer packaging, but packaging isn't worth $50, so I'm very glad to have found this.

This product does not alter the texture of your hair as the spray cover up. The colour of the cover up matched my hair colour and there were so many colours to chose from. You are bound to find a colour that suits use. Would highly recommend this product

great product and good coverage

This item is perfect although it is a big chunky to take in your purse or a bag. The power puff is ideal and is wonderful. The colour match is brilliant but it’s little brush has nowhere to go once you get it dirty.. Although it works good, it needs a little plastic sleeve or something to come with it. The photo I’ve attached shows the stunning difference after I did my mom’s thinning hair. Less than 1 min to achieve this look!!! Simply amazed!!!
