Retains height
Thick, sturdy foam cushion. Retains the height and doesn't sink, making it easier to rise from low seats. Convenient carrying handle is nice.

Sturdy and easy to move
We bought this for my husband after a hip replacement. The cushion was firm, great height and easy to bring with us.

Very firm, durable and waterproof
I must say that there is no decrease in it's height during usage. It isn't comfortable for long periods of time sitting, but in a situation where you need 5" seat lift so you'll be able to stand back up, like in a shower, I'd say ok. Be careful sitting on it because as I stated, it holds its firmness. If you got a wide butt, this is not for you! I have weakness in my legs so standing from any height lower than 27" is rather a struggle. This offers 5" extra height, it is waterproof n dryes nicely, it has some weight to it n suction cups on the bottom but that only works on smooth surfaces, it does have a strap for carrying. I still need to try it on my walker seat. The cover unzips for washing if needed. One more notable detail, is that the surface is kind of smooth n is a nylon type of texture so it's on the slippery side, be careful with that. I'll show a video of it as an example. I think the best feature is that it's firm.

the best i could find for very firm seat to inxrease height., however the back of the seat is about 6 inches shorter than the average upright chair and the seat seems to move around if i turn a little. a bit unsafe. The firmness is pretty good. i would use it to lift off of chair.

NOT 5 inches thick and NOT Extra Firm
Not even close to the 5-inch thickness as described and is not extra firm. Compressed down to about 2 inches of thickness when I sat on it. The cushion does not have the shape or size of the first image of the cushion on the chair depicted by the seller. Expect a different supplier is now sourcing this and the seller is now misrepresenting what they are selling. Has been sent back.
