I got his to use in my classroom to celebrate diversity. I love the guide that allows students to create their skin tone so that they can feel seen and represented. I love the entire colors of the world collection and Im so thankful that my students can see that there are colors beyond peach!

This 'Crayola', Colors Of The World washable paint set includes 9 nice sized bottles of paint that works very well when trying to portray/ paint people and characters of all different shades/colors. I was very impressed with the quality of the paint, as well as the size of each bottle (8oz). This set also comes with a fold out booklet that explains how to mix different colors to achieve particular shades that one may need for a painting for portrayal of a person or character. I feel this is really important for children of all ages, as well as adults too. These pains are nice to work with, and they are washable as well as non-toxic. Crayola is a brand that I have personally trusted for years, and I feel confident when using these paints weather as part of a personal art piece, or if I'm working on one with my own children. This is a very nice collection of paints, and for the price range; I think these are very nice quality and reasonable in price (in my opinion). It's also important to note that each bottle was sealed on the inside; they arrived So there was no spilling or mess. This paint is very thin and watery. It does not cover well so it didn't work for my class paper maché project. I missed the return window and now I have $20 of paint that I can't use. It may work on paper but I didn't try it.

Great paints for when skin tones are needed. Plus it has a guide on mixing for even more skin tones which is pretty cool.

I ordered this because I love the idea of inviting the children I work with in creativity classes to express themselves in a multitude of ways. We have a beautifully diverse, inclusive community and it is important to celebrate every member. A bonus with this set is the ability to create modern, tonal abstracts - the colors are perfect for that. AND, the included color chart is a great way to explore the concepts of proportions - like two doses of this color plus one dose of that color equals this, but two plus two gives a very different outcome. It is easy to work this into math lessons. I've seen that other reviewers have commented on the transparency of these colors. Well that's the beauty of washable paints! I'd far rather have transparency than stains. I would order these again in a heartbeat.
