The illustrations are wonderful - they are simple but full of facts and she seems to have absorbed this book almost by osmosis. She was telling me all about the hairs in your nose and why we have them (using garbled 4 year old language with the odd scientific word dropped in) - I think I only read this bit once before! she now has a whole load of really useful and interesting knowledge that will form a great foundation for future learning in biology and science. As a doctor I can vouch for it - and I have only spotted one very minor error involving a mix up in flaps see if you can spot it too....
