Replacement Clean and Charge Base Compatible with Braun Select Series 9(type 5791) models ONLY: 9050cc, 9070cc, 9075cc, 9080cc, 9090cc, 9095cc, 9250cc, 9280cc, 9290cc, 9291cc, 9292cc, 9295cc

When this replacement cleaner/charger arrived from Shaver Outlet, it did not appear to be working. The power light came on for 5 seconds, then went out, and nothing happened. I contacted the seller, who promptly sent another unit, but it didn't work either. That started and long and frustrating message exchange with the seller, who sought lots of detail about the particular model and various numbers printed on it that might identify what made it different than the original unit that came with my shaver several years ago. Finally, when nothing else got it working, Brian at Shaver Outlet asked me to return my old unit, the new one, a second replacement they had sent, and the Braun shaver itself for him to diagnose what was going on. He promptly returned the shaver and two working cleaner/chargers, saying "We replaced the rubber grip on your shaver as it was interfering with the contacts." So all is fine now, and despite the frustrations, I found a company with real human beings who don't give up until they've fixed a problem. Thank you, Shaver Outlet.

It only charged! The clean cycle didn't work! I returned this cleaner charger.

Needed a new clean and renew charging base for my 7 year old Series 9 shaver. The Shaver still works like new, but the base failed. This was a perfect replacement.

Received in new condition (well packed). Works as it should.

This was a replacement for the unit that came with the Series 9. That unit lasted over 6 years. This one, less than 6 months. The best the seller could do is refer me to Braun's warranty service. Great.

It cleaned but the fan to dry the razor doesn’t run.

You tell me my 5793 wouldn't work cause it wasn't. 5791,called braun,it is in the same series shaver it didn't even work for my 5791,by the way I have 3 series 9 shavers and lost 20 dollars on shipping charges,you get a negative 1 rating for that,it was defective,learned my leason.
