I bought this case for a family camping trip.I never dunked the case, but it got splashed plenty of times with no apparent leaking. The included lanyard that you can attach to one corner of the case is an absolute lifesaver. It made it much easier to carry, and made me feel much more comfortable taking pictures on cliffsides and docks than I would have felt if my phone had a slippery, non-lanyard case. It does add some bulk to an already-bulky case, though, so I was only able to carry it in a bag or my front pocket if I didn't want it hanging from my wrist. No back pocket for this sucker.There doesn't seem to be any loss in sensitivity for the touchpad, and the photos I took with the case on all came out fine (they include a cloth and a wipe to clean your phone before installing it). They also include a little extender cord to plug into your headphones, but I actually didn't need to use it - I could just plug my headphones right in, and the case didn't get in the way. I could also recharge it on a wireless Qi pad with no difficulty.Now, cons: The sound quality with this thing on is horrible. It's a waterproof case, which means it's completely sealed on all sides, which means sound is muffled and a little echoey. Taking calls and playing music with this thing is difficult. Using headphones or bluetooth to play music is fine, but still, I don't think I'll be using this as my everyday case, I'll probably just be using it for trips.The screen protector is also just a film, so I'm not sure if it can protect against anything other than light scratches. There is a raised lip around the outside of the front screen, though, so it should be fine for drops onto flat surfaces.Finally, it's made to be difficult to open. The hatch for the headphone jack opened fairly easily, but the USB charger port took some doing to open. I haven't tried taking the case off yet, but even with the included opener, it looks like it's on TIGHT. Not sure how easy it will be to take off.All in all, though, the pluses outweigh the minuses, especially if you are only using this as a temporary case for times when you want something rugged and waterproof. It's good value for the money.

I was looking for a screen protector that would actually stay on....not those cheap film covers...I wasted a lot of money with those. This cover although suggested for outdoor use...mostly because it's waterproof is perfect for everyday protection of my Galaxy S8. The outside cover is rugged and the screen cover stays in place....I don't have any issues with swiping the screens or touching apps to open and close. I love it!!! 3/11/19 Update: I had to purchase a new cover because I dropped my phone so many times a corner of the cover finally broke off. Can't imagine what my phone would have looked like without it. This cover is awesome!!!

This case is great if you want to keep your phone 100% waterproof, but not so great ifyou want to listen to any music on your phone speaker or even talk on your phone. Because it's completely sealed, it makes it hard to hear people on the phone and the rear speaker rattles because of the design. I couldn't give it a five star rating simply because of the loss of sound quality.

This case cracked within a month of owning it near the top of the case and near the charger port taking away the integrity of a water proof case. In addition, the seller of the case not only stopped responding to emails to honor the 1 year warranty, but never actually sent me a new case. If I were you, buy a better case that won't crack from normal repeated drops and from a seller that is actually going to honor a warranty. Horrible customer service and case.

I really wanted to like this case given the features and price, but it has proven to be a pain.Cons:* screen protector gets cloudy and makes screen difficult to use.* Material is pretty slippery and prone to slipping from hand* kick stand does not stay in place* plugs are hard to open and makes plugging in charger EXTREMELY difficult* Side buttons difficult to press/unresponsivePros:*feels sturdy and passed the water proof test.*Slim design, given coverageI wanted something sturdy and functional, but this one only checks one of those. Although the screen protector is a fantastic feature, and rarely seen for S8 cases due to curved screen, it is hard to keep clean, gets very cloudy very easily, and makes the screen hard to use which is a shame given how beautiful this phones display is. Unless you're willing to carry microfiber cloth Everywhere with you, expect fingerprints and cloudy appearance. The material of the body feels sturdy, but it is so slippery I almost dropped it 5 or 6 times in the day or so I have had the case. The buttons are hard to press and not very responsive. It is also extremely difficult to get the bottom cut outs for charge and headphone ports open, and even when open, hard to plug in charger or headphones. I imagine this may get easier with time, but could not open without tool the 4-5 times I have had to open them. The kick stand keeps popping out on it's own, which is a small issue but is pretty annoying, seems it's held in by weak magnet that doesn't work all that well.The only thing I would recommend this case for would be on specific days you may be doing water sports types things I.E boating or visiting a water park. For every day use, this is just not the phone case for me.

Used this cover for a week now on my S8 edge. The case fits well and whilst I haven't dropped my phone yet I am pretty confident it will be adequately protected. I was hesitant at first because the screen protector isn't tempered glass, rather a plastic material, but I have to say that it works superbly. No issues. The port covers are slightly stiff to open but I would expect that anyway for sealing against water and dust. Once opened, the port covers give easy and adequate access to charging port and jack socket. I know my S8 is rated for water anyway but this case adds that extra layer of protection against drops and knocks and scratches.

Exactly as described. The item itself is very tough. Phone fits perfectly inside, easy to snap shut and open back up. I dropped my phone in water to check the waterproofing out. Not a single drop on my phone. Wrist strap is very strong and very handy to have.

Very good product, my only gripe is the bungs that protect the power port and headphones port are so difficult to open where I have to jamb sharp object into it to open. Would I buy this case again? Yes I would the overall design is good and tough. Since having this case I have dropped my phone and on one occassion it was from a hight and my phone survived unscathed.

This makes the phone dust proof and waterproof as advertised, unfortunatley also soundproof, nobody can hear you during calls, this gets annoying very quickly

Great product for the price, screen remains responsive which is number one on your list really, buttons require an extra push, however as this is IP rated the comfort of knowing your phone is safe is worth the extra calorie of pressing a button a bit harder. Fitted like a glove with easy to install instructions.
