Does the beak stay I the position as pictured or does it flop open wide and stay that way?

I am not sure I understand your question. The beak sits on face exactly as pictured. The child can open the beak and put them in r hand in it but it stays in position.

Does Bird Bird come with cloth eyes like Grover does?

Tag says hand washable -cold - so i intend on putting it in a pillowcase, cold water and gentle cycle in my machine.

Bert has joined Ernie at last

I may be 66 but I still love my litle cuddly "friends". I have had Ernie for a long long time and had always intended to get his friend Bert.
