My Mom used to just buy the cheapest umbrella from markets or where ever, when rain starts to fall. Her old ones just gets lost or turned inside out or blown away. So I thought to myself, even though personally I do not use umbrellas, let me invest in a decent one she wont lose or just waste money on. I looked through couple sites and through amazon, found that this was the next best option from those professional golfing umbrellas. As this one had the same features as them professional umbrellas ( Nike WINDPROOF - Golf Umbrella Color: Black/White ), plus for a way cheaper price. The feel of this umbrella in your hand screams quality, strength and protection. I chose this umbrella because it had two features I was looking for. One of which being heavy duty fabric to prevent it from ripping, especially along the ribs. The fabric is 300T, which can withstand winds as powerful as professional designer umbrellas. Even if it happens to turn inside-out you can quickly press the close button and it will fold back in for a reset. I has a very luxurious feel to it. With thicker ribs and and steal spine it forms a little heavier umbrella but do not take this as a disadvantage as this actually reduces the likelihood of it getting blown away. My Mom has used it in the rain and it rolled off like water off a windscreen of a vehicle, she has not used it in high wind as yet. So I have tested this by pulling the umbrella at speeds of 200T-500T and at about 200T it never turned inside out. The main feature than attracted me to this was the Open/Close function as I guess most people would love to try also. The push button both opens and closes the umbrella with a spring action. You still have to compress it, but the umbrella closes on its own. Nice feature. The handle has a nice soft rubber texture with knuckle grooves to make it ergonomic and comfy. It is not a tiny nub of a handle like some compact umbrellas, but yet not too big so the umbrella is still compact. Very comfortable to hold. Lastly the umbrella comes with a nice heavy duty sleeve case with a zip to close and keep secure. I doubt she will use it, but nice addition making it look professional. I can honestly say I have never paid this much for an umbrella, but what a difference. This one is like a heavy duty tactical umbrella. The quality is apparent and the materials make it feel like high end. I am sure it will last for many years. This review was a personal review and not any promotional offers was given or taken. This is a really well built umbrella with a premium and sturdy feel considering the price tag. I have tested it in heavy constant rain and moderate to strong winds and it has been a complete success so far. The umbrella doesn't get carried away by the sudden gusts that usually turn other umbrellas upside down and in general you don't have to constantly fight with the wind. Not a single drop of water has found its way through the openings between the double fabric layer, a common problem in other windproof umbrellas. Even on the event of the upside turning (has happened once or twice) the metallic parts didn't take any damage. I also like the open/close mechanism which works as expected and the high quality pouch with a zip that comes with it. I was also surprised to find out that the hydrophobic coating lets the fabric dry in a few minutes, so it is never soaked in water and you enter indoors places after heavy rain without thinking about making a mess. The only way to get disappointed is if you are looking for a huge umbrella that can protect even your legs from heavy rains, but in that case you are at the wrong product page. This one is made with portability in mind so, even though not tiny, it is not big enough for situations like that. UPDATE: After having carried it every day for more than a year in my bag around London and having used it extensively, I forgot it at the tube and lost it. I can confirm though that the umbrella stands the test of time. Apart from the hydrophobic layer which wears out after a few months, the rest of the umbrella was intact. I actually ordered the very same again immediately.

This is a really strong and sturdy umbrella and it looks amazing! We recently bought another one for my wife and I had to get it in time for her birthday. I jumped on the phone to Balios and they wew super helpful. He really went out of his way to get it to the post office for delivery in time for my wife's birthday. I would recommend the product and the company over and over again.

Update: - It's been 7 months. The umberalla has served me well, but parts start to rust. It is frustrating as I'm unsure how long it will last before it eventually break because of rust. ----------- I have used this umbrella for almost a month and would like to recommend it. It looks stylish and quality. The umbrella is also quite sturdy. Most part of its frame is made of fibreglass, not only making it lightweight but also good resistance against wind. For the parts made of steel such as some joints, thick materials are used. I have not used it much in wind yet, but so far it has not flipped and its frame is still intact. The open and close mechanism works fine, but not great. I feel the spring is too strong. It requires some effort to pull the canopy into the latch which can be difficult with one hand. There is also one design flaw in its open and close mechanism. You cannot open the umbrella before pulling the canopy all the way down to the latch. This makes it rather inconvenient when you only want to close it for several seconds.

Haven't used this umbrella as much as I'd have liked but hey ho.. that's a good thing, because it hasn't really rained. However when I have, it's a great umbrella. It fits neatly in my bag so even if it doesn't seem like it will rain, i won't get caught in it without my umbrella. It's also very slick, once you unbutton it and push the button on the handle.. the umbrella shoots straight up and opens and then when it's time to go inside, you push the button and its down again, only thing you need to do is push it back down and button it up. I think this has to be the feature which I'm most impressed with. Although once you've pressed the button to bring the umbrella down, you don't have a way of opening it up again so you need to push it down as if you was finished with it and then press the open button. The pole which connects to the handle is abit wobbly which isn't a problem, but if I twist my hand whilst holding it you can feel it wobble, I'd have expected it to be solid but either way.. not a problem if your staying dry. I've been caught in the wind and it has flicked up once or twice but in a way it's supposed to. I haven't had a dramatic moment where I'm having to push it all down whilst it's pouring down and then end up throwing it in a fit of rage. But to wrap this review up, I would definitely recommend this umbrella!

This is my third attempt to get a folding umbrella which was well made with an effective mechanism. This one is a keeper. This is a very well made item. I purchased the model with the rubber handle with the wood type insert. It looks really good and the moulded finger grip is much better than some of the very small 'gear knob' size handles on other makes which can make these compact umbrellas difficult to hold in stormy weather. The open/close mechanism works well. The canopy is a good size for individual protection. I liked the small attention to detail. The strap which keeps the brolly wound closed is not the velcro type but has a sturdy stud to keep it in place. I also like the protective case which zips open to allow greater ease of entry for the folded brolly. Quick and easy. Thoughtful design. Used once in the rain but not on a windy day. Kept me dry and rain shook off easily before the closing mechanism was used. Pushing the handle in to the closed position also doesn't require you to have muscles like a bodybuilder. Some competitor umbrellas require a really strong push. The whole thing oozes quality. Highly recommended.

This is a great quality small umbrella - the canvas is nice and strong, and much thicker than my last fold-away umbrella. The metal spokes underneath the shelter look and feel well-made and strong. The whole umbrella is a good quality build and folds small enough to carry in a handbag or rucksack, whilst being light enough to carry around my wrist on the school run. It is a step up from the last one I had, that whilst cheap had weak spokes, thin canvas and soon had holes in it. I like the push-button open and close (my kids think it's magic) and it folds away well into the zipped pouch. It is big enough to shield me from lashing rain and has kept me dry in pouring rain. I have only used it a few times, but it seems to cope with winds quite well, without a hint of turning inside out (and I haven't tested it to extremes). Overall it seems like a really well priced quality umbrella that will go everywhere with me this summer in my rucksack, just in case.

I decided to buy this umbrella after researching the best (most reliable) umbrellas. A big selling point for me was the warranty. I have only used it once in the rain so far, so if anything changes I'll update this review. Overall the umbrella is heavier than I expected but this isn't noticeable when in use at all, and adds to the feeling of general sturdyness. I love that it has an automatic button to open, and to close it(closing folds down the umbrella head but you need to push the telescopic handle closed) which makes it so much easier when getting in a car. The water resistant coating is really effective too, hardly any water stays on it. Lots of people have commented on the case, it's a snug fit, but I didn't find it difficult to put on, and being able to zip it after definitely helps. When in use on a moderately windy day this umbrella did not turn inside out, but the spokes on it seem flexible so I don't anticipate it being problematic if it does. There is also an overlap of material to allow some wind to blow through. The umbrella seems really really well made. Very happy so far. Oh, also I have had lovely communication from the sellers, which I find reassuring. :)

Zuerst fand ich den Regenschirm echt spitze, leider musste ich dann nach 10 Monaten feststellen, dass sich bereits 5 der 8 nähte im mittleren Innenteil gelöst haben. Ich hatte den Schirm wenn überhaupt vl 10 mal in der Zeit in Verwendung, dass er nach dieser Zeit schon einen Defekt (zwar noch funktionstüchtig) hat finde ich nicht so toll. Amazon hat wie immer sehr kulant reagiert und refundiert ihn mir. Ich werde ihn leider nicht mehr bestellen, da ich Angst habe es passiert sofort wieder. Schade an sich ein echt schöner Schirm. Der auf und zu Mechanismus ist auch super. Man könnte den Fehler bestimmt selbst beheben, allerdings besitze ich nicht die passenden Nadeln. Daher mein Fazit für den Schirm: Schön aber zu teuer für die Qualität

Me encanta el paraguas, el sistema de apertura funciona perfectamente y se recoge igual de facil. La empuñadura es muy comoda al tener la forma de los dedos y se hace muy bonito por la madera, llevo usandolo unos meses y no se me oxido como decian en otras opiniones, no ae si al final del invierno cambiaré de opinion pero por ahira muh contenta.

Così descriverei questo ombrello, ne ho già acquistato un altro per me dopo che il mio vecchio ombrello si era rotto e visto che mi sono trovato molto bene ne ho preso un altro per la mia ragazza e devo dire che ha gradito anche lei. È un ottimo ombrello, si vede che ci tengono ai dettagli, tutto è curato nei minimi particolari, dal manico in legno lavorato a mano ed elegante alla tela di cui è fatto, la struttura credo sia in acciaio, è molto solida e resistente. Per il resto è un "semplice" ombrello ma che stupisce nella sua semplicità e qualità.

Ce parapluie a la conception anglaise et aux motifs des constellations, est de très bonne qualité, assez résistant au vent la structure est solide.

Justo me llega y llueve, este se lo he regalado a mi padre, buen paraguas pero de los dos que pedi, el otro aun me parece mejor que este..estoy contento con el producto.
