Pretty good laptop. Will make a really good school or low level gaming laptop compared to latest games. It came with a 128gb 800mbps m.2 drive that was slow for windows 11 so upgraded it to 1tb 3500mbps m.2 drive. There are mixed reviews and info even from the manufacturer on if it has a extra ram slot or not but this one does not have one. All the ram is soldered to the motherboard and needs to be taken to an Acer shop in order to upgrade. Out of the box it used 6/8gb of ram at first then after the updates it dropped down to 4/8gb used. The system is pretty fast for only having 4gb free. The processor is the main feature I ordered it for since it is a 4core-8thread processor with speed ranging from 2.5ghz to 4.3ghz. After trying some more power demanding games the temp could still not pass 50c and stays quiet and cool to touch. It normally stays idle around 41c when not under a heavy load with no sound from the fans. The screen is decent quality but not meant for games since it's LCD and not being led the games get a bit of blur here and there with higher fps. Word of advice is when installing a different operating system the WiFi drivers do not reinstall with the system so any online activation is almost useless unless you have a usb-ethernet adapter. The battery lasts me around 6 hours in performance mode but in power saving mode could possibly last 9+ hours and way longer with some power setting tweaks. The graphics says 600mb dedicated and 3400mb shared but unlike a lot of systems all the shared moves straight to dedicated making it 4gb for the graphics. The value is pretty good and the appearance is slick. My older brother was checking it out and thinking of buying one now because of how well it does. Some upgrades to look into if you know what your doing is a new m.2 drive with a faster transfer rate and also possibly an upgraded 15.6inch screen that's 1080p-4k.

I ordered this Acer Aspire 3 because my over six-year-old laptop was outdated and slow but served me well for the little things I needed it for like just browsing the internet, really no work done or gaming. All I needed was a low priced laptop that was newer and up to date to do the little things I do and this laptop fit my needs perfectly and then some in so many ways. This Acer Aspire 3 15 is really fast and so easy to use with the new windows 11 home system no lag at all whereas my old one way took way to long at times to respond and especially to boot up, this acer boots up almost instantly and the picture quality is great now the sound no so much that is lacking a bunch but hey that's what Bluetooth speakers can solve easily. I also stream my tv accounts from this laptop to my projector and it is great for movies to my projector or just on the screen. For this low priced laptop, I am very happy because it is so much better than I though it would be. It may do a lot more I haven't tried yet but anyway but if it can last near as long as my last laptop then I will really be happy, I have used it for almost three months now and my other one stills works good but I use this one. If you just need the basics like me then this is a good choice, lightweight, fast, very good picture, windows 11 home.

Great Laptop Computer run smooth great colors, recommend it

Hardware choices, such as AMD CPU + onboard GPU, IPS screen, SSD, USB-C charging and battery life are all great for this price point. However, the RAM is soldered on, and therefore non-upgradable; for the technical, it is LPDDR5-5500, 8GB (2x4GB in dual-channel config). I am uncertain whether this will become a bottleneck, but so far, so good. The user manual suggests to initially cycle the battery 3 times from low battery to full to maximize the battery life long-term. The small pin on the charging connector seems likely to bend or break over time, but you can charge the laptop via the USB-C port as well, which should fix that problem if it ever becomes an issue, and is a cool feature to have. Physical construction seems pretty solid; it is made of plastic, but not flimsy, with a reasonably nice metal finish. Software wise, google how to take it out of S mode. Remove as much Windows 11 bloatware as you can. Or install Linux. Software drivers for Windows seem to work well so far. Haven't tested on Linux. Last BIOS update was 4 months ago which is a good sign in terms of support. This seems to be a fairly popular model, so I'm guessing that translates to better hardware support and bug-fixing in the long-term from Acer, but I could be wrong. Overall, quite pleased. Good hardware at a great price point. Solid construction. I think the designers at Acer made all the right trade-offs. Getting the software, I mean especially removing the cruft in Windows 11, is up to you.

If I could give a 0 I would. The warranty expired end of January 2026. The laptop crashed a few weeks later in March. I spent some time on the phone with Acer rep leading me through steps to get it working again. Long story short I had to fed ex the laptop to Acer for repair. I received an email from Acer repair saying they received the laptop. No further correspondence from them after seven days. I had an Acer for around nine years before this one that was a great laptop so decided to go with Acer again. The keyboard description on this one said that it had a backlit keyboard. I also asked Rufus about the keyboard and the reply was that it did have one and received instructions on how to turn it on. It does not have a backlit keyboard and some of the other features/specs aren't the same. I was given a small refund on the purchase price if I agreed not to return it. BIG MISTAKE on my part. The keys on the keyboard are so close together that it is uncomfortable and my fingers often do not hit the correct keys. My hands are not large. The SOUND IS HORRIBLE.. I uninstalled the sound drivers and reinstalled and checked for updates but that made no difference. In order to hear anything I need to be up really really close to it. Since I use it to stream videos/music online almost every day, I am very disappointed in the sound. Set up was easy. Quality of laptop is not great and I doubt it will hold up for long. In my opinion this laptop is one that may be more compatible with young people as their first laptop considering the size of the keyboard. In hindsight I would not have accepted the discount I was given to keep this laptop which was not the one that was described and that I thought I was buying. The transaction and seller seem deceptive. I am without a laptop now. I will never order electronics from Amazon again.

Item: R3-7320U This laptop should perform well for most uses except heavy gaming or video/photo editing. Overall for $292 this laptop cant be beat. If it lasts a year I will be extremely happy. Time will tell regarding longevity. Important tips: 11/5/23 *You must update the system BIOS as soon as possible as there is a flaw which causes poor performance on battery power. *This item includes Windows 11 with "S" mode enabled. At the very least you need to remove this mode and without a microsoft account it is not straightforward to do so. *Install Windows 10 instead. Use the Windows ISO USB media creation tool. Save an image of the current SSD drive.. create a recovery thumb drive and then wipe the SSD. Doing a clean Win10 install from a USB stick does not require a new license key! The Win11 key automatically applies to the newly installed Windows 10 Home version. Go to the Acer website and download/install all the newest available drivers for your model. *Ditch (save) the power adapter and charge it instead with a USB-C - USB-C cable. Pros: Very acceptable screen quality for this price range. Measured USB and NVME speeds are good Decently built and should hold up to light abuse With proper drivers the CPU/GPU seem more than sufficient for light tasks Good battery life and seems to run cool with little fan noise Cons: There is no keyboard backlight despite the listing description You cannot upgrade this laptop. Internally there is no spot for a second drive and as far as I can tell no way to increase the RAM. The touchpad and buttons require more force than usual. No page up or page down buttons No ethernet or SD card ports Hobbled Win11 OS requiring more than the average skill to get right

I did some research a few laptops that weren't going to break the bank and this one had everything I wanted plus the reviews were alright. This was really easy to set up. After I signed into my Microsoft account it transferred all of my bookmarks over to this new laptop which was a real help. I just use the laptop to read blogs, write reviews, scroll social media and email. I don't play games or anything like that and so far, this laptop has been great. I've had it for 2 weeks and haven't had a problem at all. I run the laptop at home for about 7 hours a day. It is keeping cool, isn't lagging, is fast enough for me to do everything I need to, even when I have 20 tabs open. It only had 8GB of memory but that's what my old laptop had and it was enough for me. I do take pictures and download them to this laptop and there's more than enough storage to keep everything that I download. My old laptop lasted me 10 years and I never ran out of storage with the same amount of memory.

I bought this halfway through college, and it has been almost 5 years now. I’m happy to say this thing is still fast and continues to do everything I need it to do. The battery life has held up surprisingly well, and I honestly barely notice a difference compared to when I first bought it. I don’t use it every day like I did during college, so it has had more time to rest, but even after years of use and keeping everything updated, it still performs great. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. For the price I paid, this has been a reliable device that has lasted much longer than I expected.

Tiene un rendimiento muy muy bueno, no se ha trabado para absolutamente nada, ahora quien se ha quedado lento es mi internet jaja, su calidad en todo sentido es excelente, lo que no me agrada del todo es su cargador, pero, sin duda es lo mejor para el precio, sobretodo aquí en México que para ese precio te ofrecen laptops con calidad horrible, de verdad que la volvería a encargar de nuevo, no se calienta, estéticamente es preciosa, su procesador es de lo mejores, la memoria sí que no es grande pero a la vez siento que está bien para que el procesador pueda rendir de la mejor manera, igual ya existen los discos duros, así que no hay pierde, si quieren algo de excelente calidad, estéticamente precioso y con un precio bajo, es la mejor opción ya que cuenta con prácticamente todo lo necesario casi para hacer cualquier cosa, no tuve tampoco ningún problema con el envío ni nada, la trajeron de Estados Unidos a México y todo muy bien (dato: la cámara también está preciosa cuando hay buena iluminación y el audio es muy bueno, no muy alto pero sí mucho mejor que el de mi laptop pasada sin duda).
