The original watches in this range were the 12/24 hour dial US pattern watches which are virtually identical in appearance to the watches used by American troops in the Vietnam war during the 1960s and 1970s. MWC still produce two US variants in both covert black and the original olive drab. Following a large number of inquiries from European buyers requesting a similar model but with a European pattern dial they introduced the same type of watch based on a UK dial format from the early 1970's and still retaining the plexiglass acrylic crystal used on both the American version and UK watches at that time

Suits my skinny wrist
I like the size, I use it daily and it’s cheap enough not to worry if the acrylic crystal gets scratched. I swapped out the strap for a leather strap. 18mm lug width is versatile. Keeps great time not sure how waterproof it is but that doesn’t put me off.

The glass scrapes very easily
strong durable ideal for children/however dose not beat a G10 for men if you know what one is.

Great little watch
The thing I like the most is the size, not too big and obtrusive! Looks pretty close to the original plastic PX watches I've seen on some of the Vietnam War forums...very pleased with it, for sure
