Does this product hold top stub checks?

This product holds checks that are inserted horizontally at the top; thus the checks would tear off across the top as viewed in the picture of the checkbook. It also supports the use of checks that have a carbon copy attached. I love this checkbook; it is very well made and the leather is beautiful and supple. There are also slots for credit and/or ID cards on the inside cover as well. I hope this has been helpful; I would definitely recommend this product for purchase to anyone.

Will it fit a spiral top checkbook?

No, it needs a flat checkbook inside in order for the cover to close.
