Look at the specs and contents of the product. This product is not grease and has a high viscosity like gear oil. The touch and feel is similar to silicone, if you take a drop of it on your finger and rub it, the finger surfaces are absolutely dry just like a silicone test, which also tells you there is nothing oil-based component in it. Not sure at this time if it is any better than good old silicone that I've been using on my same trucks for last 20 years.
