One 50mm is better than 2 30mm fans
Best size for keeping a 1/8th-1/6th scale motors from getting hot. Now I Don’t mess with 2 smaller 25mm or 30mm cooling fans , at best they could barely keep motor from overheating. This 50mm is a huge improvement over those and moves a massive amount of air with no need to run a cumbersome goofy heat sink. Keeps my big canned SPECTRUM FIRMA SPMXSM1200 1250Kv 1/6th motor on my ARRMA KRATON V5/6 running cool on 85 degree days. Must use a blade cover with a 50mm fan. Nice machining job and good quality wiring with all the ROCKET fans I’ve been using over the past 6 years.

Used to replace the motor cooling fan on a $1100 rc vehicle. This fan blows many times more air than stock one.

Quit on first run!!
I love these rocket fans. They have amazing air flow and are durable. But these large 50mm ones are terrible. I got three and all three started having erratic speeds on the very first run until eventually they stop altogether and you have to smack them to get them turning again. So I do not recommend the 50mm. The 30, 35 and 40mm are great and I use them on all my rigs so idk what’s going on with these 50mm but avoid them at all cost!
