Pine Cone Jam Preserves with Baby Pine Cones 480g/ 16.93 oz by Samsonov and Partners

Got it for my partner who’s very into witchy/outdoors stuff. It’s very tasty! Very sweet like syrup and tastes like, well a pine cone. We used it in a tea and it was delicious. The pinecones are very soft but hold their shape. It’s surprisingly fun and tastes very herbaceous. It reminds me when you’re walking through a forest and smell all the beautiful pines around you. There is a lot of pinecones within the jar. Package and shipping was with lots of care, it was packed perfectly.

not going to say this isnt different but its tasty a lil strong but def worth the wow effect!

Had never heard of pine cone jam before but it sounded like a good idea at the time. I first tried it on some buckwheat waffles (not exactly blini, sue me) and found it very enjoyable. Lots of sweet pine flavor. I particularly enjoy the texture of the little cones and am glad the jar came fully packed with them, as was proudly proclaimed on the jar.

pine cone jam is one of the best things ever. very delicate pine flavor and soft pine cones with syrup. well packaged and quick shipping. I have it in tea and on brown bread. also great on vanilla ice cream and on yogurt.

I bought this just to see how it was. I figured ok, it's almost 20 bucks, but I'm probably only ever going to buy it once, - so let me just try it so I can say I ate a pinecone. They're actually pretty good. They taste almost like you'd expect - a very heavy herbal kind of flavor. They're pretty tender since they're young pinecones, but they still have enough of a bite to them to remind you you're basically eating wood. If you're like me, and you use your taste buds to travel the world, this is a pretty cool thing to try.

People have said it tastes really piney but to me it's not that strong. I guess some people would be pleased with the more subtle pine taste -- but it taste more woodsy to me. I wanted a stronger pine smell and taste. And it's very sweet. It's not that it's bad quality. I think the quality is good and it's nicely packaged but it just does not hit my desire for pine flavor which I feel would taste fresh, green and bright. But I'm glad I at least tried it.

I saw a video online of people trying this and I really didn't know what to expect. Package arrived well protected and no issues with the bottle contained inside. This stuff is very unique and a great surprise considering you're eating small pine cones. They are not hard or crunchy in any way, and a matter of fact they are very soft and very easy to eat. It's kind of like jelly with pine cone that's turned into a soft fruit. I recommend trying it on a biscuit or bread or something else, although it can be eaten directly from the bottle. Give it a shot, you might like it!

I was very intrigued by this product, however it tastes exactly like what it is. Not for me. Also pretty sure it expired in 2020.
