It is a perfect fit for a breville barista touch. With the new gasket everything work well and fits as new again. The old gasket was just starting to deteriorate a little after nearly two and a half years, so I figured it was time. You know it is time when the portafilter doesn’t sit as snug anymore and wants to come loose by itself when the machine builds pressure. Normally these things last about 6 months for a rubber gasket and 1-2 years for silicone ones. When I noticed I had to tighten a little more than I used to when twisting in the portafilter to avoid it shaking loose I knew I should replace it. Especially during the second shot you pull you notice it, since the gasket is then more slippery with some water on it. Replacing it is quite simple. You remove the shower screen screw and then the shower screen itself. You gently remove the gasket and make sure not to damage anything. Either a screwdriver or needle nose pliers can do the job if you are patient and careful. After that you place the new gasket and do put everything back in reverse order. Do make sure that when you apply the gasket that it sits with the smooth end up. The ridged side has a groove for the shower screen to fit in to get a good seal. Replacing the gasket is cheap, it lasts for another 2 years probably and it gives peace of mind that I don’t have to worry about the portafilter coming out during a shot. I experienced it once from not tightening the portafilter enough, and that was a mess I don’t want to clean up again. The first factory gasket I had lasted more than 2 years. In part I was probably just lucky, but I also don’t store the portafilter in the machine when not in use and I keep the gasket clean. I pull 2-4 shots per day excluding things like warm-up shots and backflushes.

I purchased this silicone gasket as a replacement for my Breville Barista Express, and it has been a game changer. After a few years of use, my original gasket had hardened, leading to inconsistent pressure and sometimes couldn't even hold the portafilter in place. This silicone version fits perfectly and provides a much better seal than the stock rubber gasket. Very easy to install and fits perfectly. If your machine is leaking or not maintaining pressure, this is a must have upgrade.

I became frustrated with some of the other gaskets that I had purchased on Amazon. Several of them would "blow-out" and leak after a couple days or weeks usage. Based on the reviews and the description I decided to spring for this one even though it was a little pricier than the others. This Fit with my Breville BES840XL Infuser Espresso Machine is excellent! When attaching the portafilter with this gasket you can feel the snuggness and there are no leaks. Providing this holds up (I'd be happy with six months) this will be my go-to gasket for now on.

Looks great with my Bambino plus

Compatible with the Breville Barista Express. The old gasket was allowing the portafilter to rotate as the pressure was building. This took care of that. The material is strong and pliable. No Leakage. No change in coffee taste. The value for a brand name part was good. If your portafilter is slipping when the pressure builds, it's time to change this gasket.

Perfect fit and easy install on Breville Infuser

The seal initially worked but failed within days. I didn't try and return it because it shredded on the way back out of the machine.

Has held up for over a year now. Replaced my og seal and works great. It's definitely a little more snug when first installing. Good durability

Compatible Sage Barista express mais pas mieux que l'original. Produit plus cher que l'original mais il me le fallait assez rapidement. Pour avoir tester plusieurs modèle non sage vendu sur amazon, c'est celui qui est le mieux. Après si vous remplacez souvent, c'est qu'il y a un autre problème (c'est mon cas). Appareil renvoyer chez sage, SAV impecable.
