I want to do urban fuschia and mercury blue 2 toned hair, which color should i apply first, or any suggestions of how to accomplish this look?

My husband does my hair color. We started about 2 yrs ago with the temp colors. I start behind my ears ad separate hair out into 2 sections top and bottom. Bottom I like blue and top is purple. Do bottom first once saturated I over with plastic cap or shopping bag. Then the top the colors really don't bleed into each other. Use petroleum jelly on ears head and neck. If temporary color never wash with hot or warm water if u do you'll wash the color out quickly. Also consider how dark yr hair is. Of course bleached hair is brighter. But know bleaching can harm hair. I never bleach squeaky clean hair, your natural oils help protect your hair.Seriously if you fall asleep while bleaching your hair it can burn your hair off

My hair used to be red I still have a little red on the top of my hair but rose gold on my ends can I use blue mercy and it will come out ?

Depending how intense the red is your hair may come out purple. If its a light or pretty faded red the blue will have a purplish tone to it. If its a more vibrant red it will more than likely come out straight up purple. Reds a pain to get out even with bleach usually and most colors wont fully cover it either. Good luck
