A: I don’t see why not, as long as the wood is solid

**Q: Can you set the combination with 4 numbers only?**
A: Yes that works fine a d is easy. Having set them the numbers can be entered in any order though

**Q: Can you use a six digit code ?**
A: You can use a 4 to 8 digit pass code. I have checked the instructions.

**Q: cannot open the safe, can I reset the code?**
A: Size 8

Bought this to replace dated key safe for my mother. Large key pad very easy to use, fold down cover very good and easy to close. On the down side it could be better if it was deeper as if you place two keys on a ring on the hook it does sometimes obstruct the closing of the safe and has on one occasion stopped the keypad operating properly. We now lay keys at the bottom rather than hang them.
