You can apply it directly or you can mix will fuller's earth powder. You can also use it with henna powder for lighter shade of henna. Please do a patch test on your hamd to check it is suitable for your skin. I decided to give it another chance after my first experience, but unfortunately, it ruined my hair. The color didn’t take at all, and the usual henna fragrance was completely absent.
