It's easy to use, although it does need some pressure to get it out of the tube. You can snip more off the pointy dispenser part of the tube, if needed. This has some grit to it, probably because it helps the product grab on and stay put. I'm just assuming this. Just give it the proper drying time and sand off the excess. It sands flat and you honestly can't really see it, at least on my project. I primed and painted over the who thing and you simply can't see where I put this. Great color for my purpose. It did work, but was a little dry. Because of that it was a little more difficult to apply. Should have been a little more paste-like.
