I fit 2 bathrooms a week
This is my trade I own a Bathroom company. This is the best silicon tool on the market. And, I have tried them all.Ok so for the bad reviews they probably expected more then what they got. You need to know how to silicone before hand. this tool just makes it quick easy and gives you a better finish.Room for improvement not really I do have buy one every month because the rubber ware and tear but sometimes that can’t be helped. If the rubbers are cheap enough for you guys to make I would love for you to pop an extra medium in the boxI was also considering buying bulk order from you to sell in my showroom at the trade counter.

Works well, excellent value
The media could not be loaded. I've been using sealant or mastic for years to seal bathrooms and always used my finger which is always messy regardless of how good it looks so I thought I'd try this tool especially as it looked like it could get to awkward spaces. It worked very well indeed, there were a few scuffs but that was easily removed with the tool. The lines produced are very neat and I would recommend if never used mastic before as using finger is also a hazard especially if it ends up in your mouth. The best tip is to practice first.

Wow what a difference for something that only costs a few pounds!
This is brilliant. My husband was dead against me buying this, as "he uses silicone every day and knows how to put it on" however he works with industrial machinery and uses the spit on finger technique, which looks a mess in bathrooms! As we are putting a new ensuite in and would be doing a lot of siliconing I went ahead and bought it anyway. Husband was very disgruntled and in a sulk told me if I wanted to use it, I could do all the siliconing myself - so I did! This is so easy to use, just squeeze a load of silicone in the gap no worry how neatly and pull this along. It makes a really neat job, even my husband has (reluctantly) agreed that he couldn't have made it look as good as it does after using this. It comes with 3 heads, I used the medium one for the bigger gaps around the shower tray and the small for everything else. The only thing this struggles with is round corners, so a bit of spit on finger is required to smooth it round. One of my top bathroom purchases.

Should have got one years ago
Having read on the various diy/builders web sites that caulking tools were for wimps and that the “wet finger” technique was the only one to yield professional results, I’ve persevered with poor finish and messy edges for years. With trepidation, I decided to purchase this little tool in an effort to reduce the inevitable frustration when sealing in a new shower unit. To my amazement, it was easy to use and produced a perfect finish first time with perfect edges too.I used the medium size head (6 – 7 mm bead) as there was a gap of a few millimetres between the shower base and the wood surround. Some have commented that the heads are tricky to change, but it’s pretty quick and straightforward if you just work with the shape of the head and the slots in the handle.I wish I’d bought one years ago – cheap, effective, easy to use and a great result.

It works!!!!
I don't usually make a success of using silicon but with this simple tool I was impressed. I had a shower where the silicon used by the builder was pulling away after just over two years. I started again stripping out the silicon with the aid of a silicon softener and then applied a fully waterproof silicon (suitable for swimming pools!). I was sceptical but the end result looks neater than the professional who used a wet finger to make a smooth edge! Hopefully this time it will last.

Helpful little tool
I replaced the sealant in my kitchen and this tool helped give me an even line of sealant - although I feel like you could get the same effect with your finger. What I really like is that the tool comes with two extra tips so you can pop on a fresh one when you need it again, I will definitely be using it for my next project in the house.
