My parents purchased this set for their summer home. The set arrived a couple days ago and my mom is absolutely thrilled with the quality for the price they paid. She really likes the bright, shiny surfaces and the thickness of the handles. We have had issues in the past with flatware that is so thin it hurts to hold them correctly. That is not the case with this set. The knife handles are especially thick, the rest slightly less so, but not to the degree that it will be a problem. My parents are very happy with their purchase!

I personally love this set of silverware. My 8 year old son did ask me though why his fork was a baby fork lol. My husband used to use the little forks but with this set he has chosen to put on his big boy pants and use the big fork. My 6 year old son didn't seem to mind the smaller size fork and honestly neither do I. They are heavier than my last silverware set but that just makes them seem like a nicer quality. These do well in the dishwasher and I think they are great!

This really is nice flatware! I ordered the “heavy duty” set. The pieces shine like mirrors, and are extremely sturdy. They have a nice weight to them, not at all flimsy. I am very pleased with this purchase. And I am thrilled with the price!

3-Month Update: After using the set for almost three months now, we have noticed that all the serrated knives and some degree of rust on the serration where the knife had been ground to create the serrations. Other than that, we still really like the set. We liked the EWFEN Hammered Silverware 40-piece Stainless Steel set so much that we ordered a 2nd set! Read on for our impressions after using and washing. -- VERY ATTRACTIVE: The styling of the set attracted us to it, and upon receipt, we were not disappointed. -- WELL MADE: Excellent workmanship in every piece. We inspected all 40 pieces and rang our fingers. We found the edges and found every piece to be perfect without any defects, and all the edges were smooth to the touch! -- GOOD GRIP. The textured or "Hammered" handles are very attractive and also provide an excellent secure grip when held in hand. -- NO RUST! We washed the entire set a few times in the dishwasher and found no rust whatsoever on any of the 40 pieces! -- OH SO STRONG! There is no bend in the fork or spoons! The narrowest section on the handle is 1/8" thick. The spoon would allow scooping hard frozen ice cream with no bend in the shaft! -- NICE HEFT: Comfortable to hold but also good weight, and they just feel right when held. -- EXCELLENT KNIFE EDGE: The dinner knife's serrated edge is sharp enough to cut meat yet wide enough to easily spread butter on bread! -- WEBPAGE IS WRONG ABOUT WASHING: The seller's Amazon web page states gentle washing and drying are necessary, but elsewhere and on the box it states "dishwasher safe." And as mentioned earlier, we washed them several times in the dishwasher, and they came out perfect. -- COMPETITIVE PRICE: The appears to be competitive for similar stainless steel sets. Update: -- ONE PIECE RUSTED: After many uses and dishwasher cleaning, we found only one of the knives with some small rust spots on the blade and handle. Picture attached. We still think it is an excellent set and will just put aside the one knife. -- MAGNETIC TEST: We performed a magnet test on the silverware using a very powerful neodymium magnet, and the pieces had some iron in them. Non-magnetic stainless steel has a lot of nickel and is highly resistant to corrosion, which is super important. If the piece were fully magnetic stainless steel, it would corrode and not last very long without the nickel to stabilize the metal. See our magnet test in the attached video. CONCLUSION: Highly Recommended!

I finally treated myself to a new set of flatware-- It was long overdue and I am not disappointed.. They feel great in the hand and in the mouth, and look great on the table. The price was right and I am very pleased with this product.

I was concerned what the quality would at that price point. But these were heavy duty, nice looking solid utensils!! Would highly recommend.

I use this set of silverware on an everyday basis and I’m very pleased with it. So much so that I bought another set for my son & daughter-in-law!🥰 Not only are they beautiful & durable, but they come in all the sizes you could ever need (the forks and spoons), they never lose their shine, and they’re dishwasher safe!!! I highly recommend this product!

I’m disappointed. It says that the silverware is heavy and I was so looking forward to getting the delivery. It’s not heavy at all

It's so hard to get "STURDY" heavy Silverware at a decent prices. This set covers that base. Well worth the purchase
