Plug and play cable very simple to install and worked as described
I used this cable to connect my MacBook Air to my presonus quantum interface for music production and worked perfectly without causing any delay so data transfer is very quick Would recommend this product

Great quality cable. Tested at 10Gbps, passed with flying colours (as you'd expect).
The video goes into much more detail, including a quick overview of what you get followed by testing. However, in a nutshell: Things I liked: + Rock solid performance (at 10Gbps, at least). + Labelled Thunderbolt 4 on both plugs. Things I didn't like: - Although the price is high, this is understandable, particularly given the Thunderbolt 4 certification criteria. Do I recommend it? Yes, very much so. My testing setup is restricted to 10Gbps device and port combinations, so I'm restricted to a quarter of what this cable is capable of. However, this cable consistently outperforms my 20 Gbps cable by about 1 MB/s. While that doesn't seem like much on the face of it, it does demonstrate that my 10 Gbps bottleneck is being used to its absolute capacity by this cable and I feel confident that it sufficiently future-proofs my setup and removes the cable for consideration as a potential bottleneck in my system. Great cable.

Solid cable
I must admit I was a bit confused when I saw "pluggable" on this cable - then I realised it's the brand! Of course the cable is pluggable, otherwise it would be a bit useless! Anyway - I've used this cable as a charging cable and it works perfectly fine and seemed to support the maximum charging speeds my devices could handle using PD (Power Delivery). But if you're paying this much for a cable - you're probably not wanting it to charge your phone, I've used this cable to connect a PC to a colour-calibrated 4k monitor and it works beautifully. The truth is I don't need a Thunderbolt 4 cable as everything I have is Thunderbolt 3 - but, it's great to know that I have a cable which is futureproof and cable of handling anything. I'll be making some hardware upgrades later this year and this cable will be fantastic for my new build. The truth is that at the moment I don' really need this cable as it's capable of far more than my PC is, but soon (hopefully) I'll be able to really utilise it and my older cables will be relegated to the "phone charger" drawer. But for now it it working perfectly as my monitor cable and the build quality is superb, I have no doubt that this will bring years of service. In a nutshell: Solid cable capable of delivering more in terms of power and data speeds than I actually need right now, it's a cable that will not slow you down.

Nice quality to it and it seems to work as it claims to.
You get well made cable that performs as it claims to. I mean it's difficult to rave on about a cable of this sort to be fair. It's got a good feel to it and the cable itself is surprisingly supple making it easier to coil and store in your laptop bag. I have no issues with the build quality at all. The cable itself feels quality and the connectors are very well seated on the cable with well produced connectors. Decent shoulders at the connectors to lessen cable shear. The thing you're looking for is data transfer performance and this performed brilliantly frankly. Connected to an SSD this achieved a transfer rate of 232 MB/s, which is the highest I've had with that particular drive because honestly it's likely the drive itself that is limiting the data transfer speeds. I didn't have chance to test with a USB 4 connection yet though. 4k transmission was without fault either. I only have the capability of testing with a 4K 60Hz video signal here this weekend, but it coped just fine. No issues whatsoever. No ghosting, glitches, tearing. As for charging capability it worked fine for my 95W laptop, supplying a stable current without issue. It allows everything I've charged with it to detect the correct charging protocol really quickly too. All in all a decent cable. It's easy to get cheaper cables that either charge OR transfer data well enough, but getting a cable that does both will cost you money. They have to be made from higher quality components, which obvious incur a greater production cost. The 1m cable currently costs £24 with the discount applied. That's not the cheapest I've ever seen, but it's also nowhere near the most expensive for the capabilities and length. This seems to work exactly as claimed as far as I can tell.

High cost, high specification cable.
Until recently I have been skeptical about the need to pay over the odds for high quality computer cables. Now I find that cables used for either high power charging or fast data transfer really do need to be high quality or they underperform. The Plugable Thunderbolt 4 Cable is high spec and has performed perfectly, for example connecting up my laptop dock, data transfer and fast charging. I agree with other reviewers’ comments about the cable’s appearance. It has a smooth rubbery feel and is thinner and more flexible than other fabric covered Thunderbolt 4 cables that I have used. There is little point in paying a high price for a high specification cable for routine use but if you have the need for this cable’s speed or charging characteristics it is worth it. This is the highest spec cable I have so I have rated it 5 star ... despite the price.

Quality Cable
This is a high specification cable that is designed for devices using Thunderbolt ports, I have tried this cable on my dell laptop that uses the older thunderbolt 3 ports. It works fine no issues with data transfers or connectivity issues. This cable can transfer at speeds of 40 Gbps, currently my older TB 3 ports support lower than 40 Gbps, it’s good to know this cable is future proof. This also supports 240 watt charging but most phones will never use that capability. The cable is well made the USB C connectors feel solid and overall construction is sturdy and reliable. Overall this is a good cable with faster charging times than your standard USB C cable it’s also quicker with faster data transfer speeds, if you want the best performance Thunderbolt/ USB C cable this does everything but at a price.

Quality cable
This is very nicely constructed, with tough, durable cable and well-attached connectors. There’s good strain relief and the plugs fit ports snugly. The cable is clearly made to last, designed to tolerate some rough handling, and looks smart too. Performance? I don’t yet have any Thunderbolt 4 devices but it’s certainly very fast when installed between my Thunderbolt 3 XPS13 and an external SSD. I can believe the 40 Gbps claim, depending on the connected devices. It seems sensible to buy future-proof (for a while) cables although this is a rather expensive way of doing so, currently £37.95 less 5% voucher (=£36.05). No doubt the price will come down before too long. In the meantime, if you want the best, it seems worth paying the price.

Absolute beast of a cable that makes those laboriously slow charging times a thing of the past.
Some of the latest laptops including our own support Power Delivery 3.1 (PD 3.1), charging at up to 240W—a massive increase on PD 3.0’s 100W limit. Of course, you’ll need a powerful charger to take advantage of the super wattage this impressive Thunderbolt-certified cable provides but it's well worth the cost as the laborious charging waiting times of old are a thing of the past. It's equally useful for my mobile as my Sony Xperia 1 IV is fully charged in around 35 minutes. As a modern USB4 cable, this is compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 and all versions of USB-C, and can handle data transfer at an impressive 40Gbps. Speedy! In summary, it's a beast of a cable that performs brilliantly and I'm more than happy to recommend it. Thanks for taking the time to read my review. All the best
