These grill tongs have been a great addition to our grilling tools. The extra long length really does make a difference because I can reach across the grill without feeling like my hands are too close to the heat. They feel sturdy without being heavy or awkward, and they have a nice grip so food is easy to turn and move around. I also like that they feel well made and not flimsy like some tongs I’ve used in the past. They’re easy to control, easy to clean, and work well for everything from burgers and chicken to vegetables. I’ve used them several times now and they’ve held up really well. Overall, they’re simple, practical, and exactly what I wanted for grilling. I would definitely buy them again.

Great long stainless steel tongs for using on my new bbq. Keeps my hands away from the heat, but allows me to reach across to quickly turn burgers, chicken, potatoes, and steaks. Good quality and the lock holds well. It is also an excellent value for the money spent. It cleans easily, and I keep it in the bag under my bbq with my other utensils. Out of the rain, and stays dry. It also has a nice grip where your hand is placed on the tongs, which keep things from slipping. Very pleased and highly recommend.

OMG! These tongs are the best ever!! The extra long length means I don't get burned anymore using my oven shaped Air Fryer. And locking them closed is a simple pull on the ring. And unlocking them is a simple push of the ring (against my waist for one handed unlocking). They are heavy duty, made very sturdy. The extra wide 'bowl' ends grab small loaves of bread as well as pretty much anything else. I recommend these tongs to the moon and back!! And I don't write reviews, but felt compelled to for this product. You won't be disappointed!

These are actually quite good value for the price. I actually didn't buy them for a bbq or any food related reason... I actually bought them to get clothes out of my new top loader washing machine because once the machine stops the cycle you can't spin where the clothes are to get clothes that have landed at the back. They do the job for that so I am happy with them.

I originally bought these to replace the tongs that came with a barbecue tool set. There was nothing technically wrong with the old ones, but they were just a bit too short, which meant I was forever getting my hands far closer to the heat than I wanted and even get burns on some occasions. These solved that problem immediately and another that I hadn't even thought of. As they are longer when they open the ends open up that little bit more wider than the shorter pair would, and this makes it much easier to get the scourer right into the ends and makes them so much more easier to clean, and a great little added bonus. At 17 inches long, these are perfectly suited for the job as they give you plenty of distance from the grill without feeling awkward or difficult to control. In fact, I found them easier to use than my previous pair because the gripping end is slightly larger and does a better job of holding food securely when turning burgers, sausages or larger cuts of meat. The build quality is also noticeably better. The stainless steel feels thicker and more substantial, with none of the flex that cheaper tongs often suffer from. They have a premium feel in the hand and look like they will last for years of regular use. Another thing I appreciated was the locking mechanism. On my old pair it was always a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it would lock, sometimes it wouldn't, and you had to force it into position. These are much smoother and the lock works properly every time, making them easier to store away when not in use. £10.99 might seem a little expensive when you're only buying a single pair of tongs rather than a full barbecue set, but the quality difference is obvious as soon as you use them. Better reach, better grip, smoother operation and far better construction make them excellent value in my opinion.
