We are very impressed with this machine. Easy assembly, easy to use, and very easy to clean the machine after use. I cleaned four area rugs and one wall to wall rug in a short amount of time. All the rugs came out looking brand new. The wall to wall rug and one of the area rugs are smart fiber rugs so I expected them to clean easily. The area smart fiber rug had some extremely heavy stains on it and the dog had urinated on all the corners. It looked so bad we were going to throw it out. We tried the machine on it and the stains are gone. The rug looks brand new. I used the regular formula and not the pet formula, which I suspect would have done an even better job. Two of the area rugs are circular and inexpensive rugs. The machine did not tear them up, which was a concern. The fourth area rug is a large, gorgeous, 40 year old, non-trafficked, very expensive wool rug. It has always looked great. It is regularly vacuumed, but has not been wet cleaned for at least 13 years. We can't believe how it looks now. It came out significantly brighter and looking brand new. Extremely impressed. Suction on the machine is excellent. At one point I started to lose suction and couldn't understand why, but then I noticed the dirty water was up to the float. The machine stops pulling in water when it reaches the float. The dirty water was so black we couldn't believe it. The suction on the machine is so good that the carpets were almost dry right after cleaning. Make sure to double vacuum your rug before cleaning. I feel that makes a big difference in the machine's performance. It's not a vacuum. I used two different Shark vacuums on each rug before cleaning and they pulled out a lot of fine dirt. Initially, when using the machine for the first time, I did a 'quick clean' on one of the area rugs to get used to it. After doing that I would recommend just going for the deep clean right away. I think the quick clean function is for refreshing the rug at a later date after it's been deep cleaned. My wife says it would have cost us at least $500 to have someone clean the amount of rugs that I cleaned so the machine has already more than paid for itself. Great value for the money. She is very happy with the results as am I.

Better than the previous version which I liked until it got a few years old. Very easy to fill clean water/soap tank, it pops off and fits in the sink like it was designed for it. Much improved waste water tank, easy removal, a good size drain with plug on top and the interior tank parts are simple to remove through a good size screw capped opening on the bottom (this is a very important feature because if you don’t clean it it stinks). As for cleaning it has dual brushes and great suction. We have a light beige carpet and a dog, I have been thinking about replacing because of shoe stains at the base of our recliners that wouldn’t come out and a few traffic areas and dog treat eating spots, this machine removed the stains completely vs a 4 year old same price range Bissell that is gone with the trash man. Lastly it’s easier to operate. Trigger on handle to spray, brushes work great, and tremendous suction. I didn’t spend a lot of time on any area as I was still planning on new carpet thus new cleaner, and it looks new. I no longer plan to replace the carpet. Enjoy.

I purchased this carpet cleaner based on good reviews from consumers report. It cleaned the carpeting very well and removed quite a bit of the cleaning solution and moisture from the carpeting. I put a fan on the carpet and it was almost completely dry in 4 hours. The cleaner was very easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. The cord is plenty long enough to clean a large bedroom without having to plug in, unplug, and move the cord. The water container is easy to fill and the dirty water container is easy to dump. They include a cleaning tool to help you clean the brushes which is extremely helpful. Don't accidentally throw the long, grey, plastic tool away. It is very useful. The bag to hold the additional accessories is a nice touch. It definitely helps keep everything together. It really helps if you purchase the Bissell cleaning solution for this machine. It is an excellent cleaning solution, especially if you have senior pets that have occasional accidents. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I have deep-cleaned my carpet once since purchasing the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus Upright Deep Cleaner. I bought this to replace one that had issues, spitting dirty water onto the carpet and spitting clumps of carpet fibers/hair/fur. I have four dogs and intend to use it more frequently. It did an excellent job of removing the dirt from my beige carpets. My carpets dried quickly. On the downside, I still had the issue with it spitting out clumps of carpet fiber/hair/fur. I had to go around and pick it up (not cool). It also left some dirty water spots whenever I turned it off, so I had to go back over to clean them up. I will continue to use it because it is pretty lightweight, the price wasn't too bad (purchased during Amazon Prime Days), and it is easier to fill/dump dirty water than my old one was. I still can't clean along the baseboards easily, nor can I clean underneath beds.

Wow, wow, wow. I have two dogs, and have fostered a few dozen dogs over the past 5 years. Plus nieces and nephews in and out, normal life, etc. And I ended up with some very dirty carpets and rugs. I was going to rent a machine from Lowes, but it was about $50 per day here, and with the amount of carpet and rugs I needed to clean, and my own physical limitations due to injury, I knew I would need at least 2 days to get everything done. So at that point, I figured why not just get a deep cleaner for myself. A lot of people recommended the large, more professional Bissell (the big green) but that felt too expensive for me to use for myself (and maybe let family borrow) so I went with this more mid-tier Bissell ProHeat. And wow. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was not this level of deep cleaning from a machine that looks like a vaccuum. It's stunning. I knew my rugs were dirty, but I vaccuum regularly and didn't realize just how truly dirty they were till I started the deep clean. The picture speaks for itself! This was after two passes, on the deepest clean mode and with the Pet formula and hot water. The machine itself was easy to put together, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was deep cleaning within 20 minutes. I couldn't replace the installed carpet, but had seriously been considering replacing the rugs. Which would have cost more overall than buying this Bissell Proheat. Overall, I am thrilled and obsessed. I will be cleaning everything in sight, from the carpets to upholestry on the chairs and couches. I don't have a garage, so storage will be a little tricky. But it's roughly the size of a large vaccuum, so it's not any different than that. The weight is a little heavy, especially when carrying upstairs. Just move the unit first, and add the water/solution afterwards. It's only been a few hours of use, but there has been no leakage or issues so far. Just bright, clean carpets!

Incredibly impressed with its performance! First, it was very easy to get it out of the box and assembled. Instructions were clear and it only took about 2-3 minutes from box open to ready to fill. Second, the box comes with two formulas with 2 tanks worth of formula in each. So right out the box, you’ve got four washes without having to go to the store. My son loved that they do not have a strong odor. Third, the tanks were very easy to fill and empty. As someone with an autoimmune disorder, I appreciate that the tanks are easy to move, hold, and install and they aren’t too heavy full. Fourth, this sucker is amazing. We have a rug on our back porch that lives there through all four seasons and the feral cats annoyingly love to hang out on it and occasionally pee on it. I’m including before and after photos because- wow! Such a difference. The carpet is visually cleaner but also super soft to walk on now. Fifth- very easy to empty and clean the machine when the job is done. Finally, I love the thoughtfulness that went into to this machine. The spot cleaning function, the upholstery hose and accessories, the easy-to-pull trigger, and the easy on and off fill cap. My one tiny gripe is that it’s heavy to push and pull on the carpet. It’s not bad, about 2x the effort it takes me to use my Dyson stick vacuum but people with mobility challenges, chronic fatigue or arthritis, you may need to take breaks or let someone else clean the carpet while you supervise and eat snacks.

I had a top of the line carpet cleaner I have had for several years. I did my carpets on Monday. The brushes quit working. I took everything apart and could not working so I bought this unit. There was a high traffic area in the carpet I have not been able to get clean. This unit got it clean. I went back over the carpet where I had already cleaned and the solution was almost black. This cleaner is amazing. Very easy to disassemble to clean as well.

I used the Bissell Max Pro Solution. I pre-vacuumed twice and then soaked stains per the instructions. The first passes were great. The smell is nice, stubborn stains were removed and you could see the suction on the return pass. Very soon, however, there was a huge amount of foam generated and it was not getting sucked up. I don't know how this will dry and am concerned about pets and me walking bare footed on the chemicals. Another drawback is that a significant anount of water was coming out of the vacuim when I carried ot down the stairs. Of note you will need to refill the tank 1 or 2 times to do a 16 x 16 room. Cleaning of the machine was easy. There was some carpet fuzz which may have been the culprit here. If so perhaps the repeat will not be a problem. I called customer support through Amazon while I write this. The AI bot was going to send a trouble shooting video via text...I am still on the line waiting after 17 min.
