Stainless Steel Wide Grill/Fry Tongs, 12-Inch

Very nice tongs with long handles to prevent oil splattering on my hands when stir frying or grilling. They are heavy duty and very useful for certain tasks. By that, I mean that they hold cut veggies, small pieces of meat and other mid-sized foods fine. I tried flipping a flank steak and that was not a good idea. Too heavy!

Lock feature working properly. Length comfortable as I fry. Sturdy and good for intended use.

Oh. My. These are the perfect frying tongs. The tension in the tongs is ideal - not so strong you have to clench your hand muscles hard to compress them, and not so light you have to do all the work. The grating allows grease to drip out. They are sized perfectly for small pots as well as larger. They have a slightly convex (or concave, depending on what side you're looking at) shape to gently hug the meat. And a seriously amazing warranty. And not ridiculously expensive! Am buying two more, both because I always want to use them when they're in the dishwasher and because this is just the kind of quality product companies inevitably stop making, leaving you in the lurch. Update May 2017: I bought three of these, and they still work perfectly. They don't rust in the dishwasher. They are wonderful. Update February 2021: These are still amazing. So easy to wash. I wash them by hand now since our dishwasher died. Easy to use, easy to store, versatile as heck. Update August 2024: We now own 8 of these as we rely on them for frying and broiling and we cook so much that we never want to get stuck without one available. When I have to use other more conventional tongs, the difference is noticeable. My hand hurts, and meat is clumsy to turn and I occasionally drop it. The build and shape of these tongs prevents any of that. I don't usually update my reviews so often but I appreciate the design of these so much.

Wish I had bought these first!! I bought another pair of Cuispro tongs before purchasing these. I find these wide tongs perfect for flipping meatballs and other food. They drain well, function perfectly, definitely a nice addition to the kitchen. If you don't own any tongs, I might suggest this pair and kitchen tweezers, which are more useful than regular tongs for some things.

I got to use these tongs for the first time today and I have to say I'm very impressed with them. I didn't use them to pick up fried foods from a deep fryer as some people have used them, more to grab and flip some chicken thighs I was sauteing and I found them ideal for this. In fact, any flat type protein like say a steak or chop would be easily and securely picked up with these great tongs. Their shape makes them ideally suited for this task. In the past, I've used a pair of oxo stainless tongs, that everyone keeps raging about, but it wasn't easy to grip the chicken thighs and they often slipped out of the tongs, not so with these cuisipro tongs, which worked great. It simply goes to show that if you use the right tool for the job, it just makes the job easier. Highly recommended.

Wide grips make this a great tool for grabbing stuff without damaging them.

I just got this one less than 15 mins ago at 4 am. Not a typo! 4 am! Crazy good prime delivery time slot here in Vancouver . Ordered less than 20 hours ago. Anyways back to the review. I am so impressed. I already own 3 of the regular Cuisipro tongs and up until today,they were my best and favourite of all the other tongs. My pet peeve dislike of 95 % of tongs is the use of coiled springs in the mechanism which despite the stainless steel claim of stainless steel tongs, the springs rust under normal inside the kitchen use. I am a bit OCD about that. This has not happened with the Cuisipros as the spring is flat stainless steel metal that’s geniously designed as the pull out locking mechanism….all in one piece. I wash the tongs in hot soapy water in the sink with a dish scrub brush and put in my dish dryer basket to air dry and that’s about it. I bought the tongs about 2018,just before Covid 19 and the spring mechanism is as you see it today June 14,2025. No rust…although looking at my photo, I think I need to scrub a bit of grunge off the spring but I am not not changing the photo to make sure everything is perfect.This is Amazon review , not Instagram. Notice the size of the spoon part…it is slotted and it is noticeably longer and wider. That means it’s going to grab more food and if you are pulling out food from hot oil or boiling water it is going to pick up less fluid. Yes, I know there are slotted spoons/ladles designed for that but tongs are my goto cooking utensil that's either in my hand or right beside the stove on the counter. Notice the wider gap on the handle where it is bent to form the arm. The standard Cuisipro has only about a 1/4 inch gap which makes the handle into a tube which can carry hot water from whatever you’re grabbing, right to your hand. Always keep the spoon lower than where you are holding the tong. That’s a rookie mistake but hey I’ll be 74 June 27 and I swear, on a number of things, I am slipping! The point is, that hot liquid will have more of a chance to run off the tongs than run down to your hand via the handle. Don’t worry , I never do that rookie thing with hot oil. 375 degrees F oil seems to keep me focused. Thickness of the metal used hasn’t changed. With my age, I have seen so,so many things where they cut corners by using cheaper materials. Aside from inflation and tariffs lately,I am still willingly to pay a premium for a brand that maintains their quality standards. One usually associates that with Rolex,Rolls Royce etc, but for a 15 dollar pair of tongs ?I am in, I am buying. Pay the 2 dollars extra for these grill/fry ones. The standard one is good but if you got 15 dollars budgeted ,you will not regret tossing in the price of a cup of Mcds coffee for these. I am ordering another one before too many people read my review and the price goes up! Jim from Vancouver.

Die Grill-Zange ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bei billigeren Produkten zwickt man sich oft die Finger ein und es besteht Verletzungsgefahr. Diese Zange ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig und praktisch. Handhabung ist sehr einfach. Benutze die Zange sehr oft. Top Produkt. Kaufempfehlung!

Diese Zange ist ideal für Küche und Grill. Durch die bereiten Enden kann das Gargut sicher gepackt werden. Auch bietet sich die Länge der Zange gut zum Grillen an, da man nicht zu nah an die Hitze kommt. Die Feder in der Zange ist nicht zu stark, sodass auch Leute mit kleinen Händen gut arbeiten können und keinen zu großen Widerstand haben beim Zusammendrücken. Auch die Löcher sind praktisch. Damit lassen sich gut frittierte Lebensmittel aus heißem Fett entnehmen. Und durch die Löcher läuft das überschüssige Fett ab. Auch kann die Zange als kleiner Frittiertkorb genutzt werden z.b. für kleine panierten Garnelen.
