A great helmet for the price. It seems durable and fits well. My only concern with the helmet is the plastic tab for the flip-down sun visor seems lower quality, but it hasn’t broken yet and I’ve had it for 2 months. Removing the visor with the pin lock also shows that that plastic is a bit more budget, but it works well. The visor does fog up in cold weather so an anti-fog shield is a good investment. I also bought the clear visor for night riding and switching between visors is relatively easy. Overall I really like this helmet, I like the design and the flip-down Sun visor. I also really like the padding and quick release chin strap.

I purchased this helmet as a budget-friendly full-face option, and I was honestly impressed with the overall quality for the price point. This helmet runs a bit snug compared to others I’ve worn, so I would strongly recommend going one size up from your normal helmet size, especially if you’re between sizes. Because of the tighter fit, I ended up giving this helmet to my little sister, and it fits her perfectly and comfortably. Very nice, very well made helmet the designs are awesome I’m a size Medium and fits perfectly specially on the ears. Highly recommend I will definitely buy again this is my second helmet I buy from HAX and for the price it very affordable. What I love about this helmet is that nothing is squeaky unlike others they make so much noice. BUT NOT THIS ONE.

Probably the best helmet I’ve ever worn. Fits snug, very comfortable and works extremely well in the sun. The mirrored lens often blocks the sun well enough without using the flip down sun visor. It doesn’t feel heavy on my head and sends to be made well. It could use a little more venting for air flow as the summer heat does make the helmet warm, but not so warm it’s uncomfortable. Overall I believe this helmet would protect well enough in a crash situation, though I hope to never find that out.

I purchased a size XL Hax Obsidian Series Matte Black & Gold full face helmet directly from Hax via Amazon. It arrived quickly & in perfect packaging. First of all it is stunning in appearance, an absolutely beautiful helmet that matches my black & gold motorcycle perfectly. The gold fin arrives off helmet, but snaps in easily. There is gold paint under the fin, so it looks good without it as well. The fit is perfect. It is snug, but soft. Slightly above average for wind sound. Easy to use quick-release strap. Box also includes a soft bag for storage or transport & can be used to dry buff the helmet & visor(s) without scratching as well. Helmet comes with a high quality mirrored & tinted outer visor that has like 4 or 5 positions to vent, plus a smaller goggle-like tinted visor that drops down when you push a tab on the outside... good for use in the day if you want to get some air with the outside visor open, but it is redundant if the visor is shut as it is too dark. But I just bought a clear outside visor from Hax to switch out for when I ride at night so the inside goggle visor will be nice when I'm too lazy to switch back. There are several vents that open\close. One in the front for your mouth\nose. Two on the top sides. All are mostly effective for cooling but I do get a tad bit of fogging every so often if I'm breathing heavily... clears right up with a quick visor release though. Inside padding is firm but soft & has all of the features you would expect. It is removeable if that's your thing. I just use a shot of Febreeze & it stays fresh as new. You get loads of style, but also quality construction & tons of features for a very reasonable cost, so I would recommend this helmet for any rider.

I have had this helmet for several months and it's working great for me. I've had no issues. It's very comfortable, looks good, and the visors help out on sunny days.

It’s a great helmet but all the prior reviews of being a size smaller is genuinely true. When I saw the opening for my head. I said to myself there’s no way my head is going to fit in there”. Ease of use- It took some constant wiggling to get my head in and once my head was in, i constantly had to wiggle my head to get where my ears are supposed to be and where the helmet appropriately placed. I just had to return the item bc I don’t want to constantly have to wiggle every time. I find the padding and the structure where your cheeks are especially tight possibly to prevent forward face smashing which I had experienced in the past bc this helmet does not provide any padding in the front. I have nothing negative to say about the overall product and the padding is excellent for the price point but they should mention that the helmet is not true to size that you usually use. I didn’t bother to use the product so I can’t provide any opinions of the sound quality, or durability. My honest opinion is that this is a great helmet. Even though it was tight, I can feel very safe using this helmet that’s why I’m re-ordering from them but a size larger. So if you’re on the fence, just purchase it but get a size larger then what you usually wear. I ordered large so I’m re-ordering getting the XL. Hope this helps =)
