I have read this book to many infant school classes as part of story times or Library visits in the course of my working life. Lots of fun. Definitely a classic

This is a great book that follows in the footsteps of Jack and the beanstalk. Read as a sequel or stand alone it's a lovely story with repetitive language and beautiful pictures. My year 2 class have loved it!

I love this book! It is a continuation from the original story of Jack and the Beanstalk. The giant is now an old man and has a new adversary in the form of Jim. Lots of humour and children will love it. Great for reception to yr2.

Brilliant story, wonderful to read to my baby son, he loves the pictures and seems to appreciate my impression of Brian Blessed as the giant. We will enjoy this for years to come, just as I did when my grandad read it to me when I was little.

This is great when teaching traditional tales to young children as it is another look at a well known tale.
