For this use case, it works a treat. However, as others have said, the internals of the product do not look like they can handle large power use cases - but what can you expect, its not a premium product. This was perfect for my use case and was easy to use and run. The plastic isn't the most sturdy but it shouldn't get moved about too much. It does not take up too much space so can be kept quite hidden and as expected, compatible with any UK appliance.

A: No Jo, it can't be fixed to the wall. Mine just sits on the floor behind the TV.
