Worth the price for a dedicated Swirl finder
The brightness, focus, and CRI will help you to see the details that will help you to identify defects and get paint correction and coating just right. Cheap standard flashlights do not compare, pictures and videos online do not do justice to the performance of this light. Even with these performance advantages, I wasn't prepared to invest in a brand-name swirl finder at $100+, or even a Harbor Freight knockoff at $50, but I decided to gamble on this one, and I'm glad I did. I'm confident I will get my money's worth.

Quality light. Glass lens. Excellent for detailing. Don’t buy it for the magnet.
Really great quality light with proper edge to edge even lighting and two color temperatures. Very bright. Has a heat sink too, so shouldn’t overheat. The magnet barely holds it on a fridge, it’ll fall if you breathe on it - I don’t trust that. And the hook is super flimsy. I’ll be mostly using it on a tripod so those things don’t bother me. USB C charging shouldn’t be a plus in 2023, just the default, but good on them for keeping with the times. Honestly would make a great budget photo/video light too. Definitely recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised by quality of build and usefullness of PowerSmith 500 Inspection Light
The PowerSmith 500 Inspection Light is really a high quality product. I was very surprised to the upside. This is one of the rare occasions when I feel that I got a great deal. I am using it principally for residential paint jobs to compare different paint finishes under varying lighting conditions and to inspect drywall repairs. So far, it has been tremendously helpful and effective. I can't comment on the battery life as I have not used the device that long, but the build quality is excellent.

The light output is great, and I like the swivel with the magnet for attaching it to things. I charged it one time and now it won’t register that it’s plugged in. Lasted less than a year.

No la recomiendo para igualación ya que le falta fuerza a la luz pero para detallado sirve muy bien por el cambio de luz de fría a cálida y puedes ver muy bien la distinción de luz sin pulir y después de pulir muy buen producto

Solid, budget friendly option! Oh no, not the swirls!!!
Considering the price of a similar Scangrip light, this was a no-brainer purchase for me. I'm just a DIY guy who will be using this light only occasionally. For that, the build quality appears excellent. The light is very bright. Dual color temp works... ... and I can see all the horrible swirls in my paint!
