Excellent
Fab for horses in winter gives them fibre helps digestive system as not moving around as much but I do feed in summer smaller amounts as need a small feed for supplements

Brilliant Feed For Old Horses
I have a 37 year old (38 next month!) and have fed him Fast Fibre since he became unable to eat hay. It has kept him healthy and well, and he enjoys it. It soaks well, although I give it longer than 60 seconds, and it's very convenient. I add oil to it to provide more calories for him. I would highly recommend it for horses that have difficulty eating hay.

Short dayed
Very short dated. Disappointed. Takes months for my horse to get through a sack of this. It has 2 weeks on it! Should be sold at a reduced rate with such a short date!

Does its job
For the summer I just need something I can give my old horse's prescribed feed balancer/mineral supplement in. This is perfect as I can just chuck a handful into the bowl, soak it in plenty of water for a minute, add the supplement, mix and serve. I wanted something with minimal sugar (elderly arabs being prone to sugar intolerances), minimal additional energy (she has plenty, thank you very much), but which would serve as a base for the rather nasty tasting powder she has to have. I had got a sample of this from A&P's stand at Badminton, and my mare, after a few suspicious sniffs at it, ate it with reasonable enthusiasm. She does not care very much for hard feeds, having until last winter been fed exclusively on grass, so one assumes this is quite palatable. She also doesn't drop very much of it (she has good teeth) - possibly because this feed is served as a mash rather than being a cube or a mix (she drops mixes all over the place). So, for my horse's specific needs for now: perfect.
